Brian (BK9300) while working on do-dads for his plow project was nice enough to draw up and get a 3D printed a cab console and a Chelsea PTO and a hydraulic pump (2 styles) for me ! Thanks buddy!

I think we got a reasonable facsimile of an under reach lift ,,a knock off on how the Century is sorta,,, just have to make the pivoting tow bar and then paint it up,,,stick a couple hyd hoses on it .I'll probably just lay the original towbar on the deck attached to the pad eyes

I helped install an "add on " under reach on a 750 Holmes/Autocar back in 1990 ,,,it attached by bolting and welding to the top of the deck and back of the wrecker body ,it had it's own hydraulic pump driven by a 12V motor(like a lift gate setup) and had a tethered remote cable. Worked rather well actually ,that was back when I was a contract mechanic for New Jersey Bell . I can't remember the manufacturer ,,it may well have been a Zacklift Zacklift Towing Equipment | Zacklift International

.............a little more done, my plan is to attach this to the boom 1st stage with a pivot pin ,,theoretically ,,hopefully....possibly maybe,,,,lol

Modified/plated over the opening on the wrecker body for mounting of the under reach,started cobbling that up

..................we have some color,, some faint 3D print lines showing on the cab doors but if I filled/sanded more I'd lose detail,,won't be as noticeable once the stripes are on and clear coat .I'll let it level out some then put in the dehydrator

............couple hours today,more cab sanding and primer, couldn't use the KW mirror brackets so I just used the heads ,made the brackets and used watch screws to attach to body ,made the grab rails..they will all get Revell Chrome,Tomorrow wet sand the hood and cab and maybe get some color on it. Can't do much more on the chassis until I get the brake chambers.Got the Evergreen rectangular telescopic tubing so I can play around with some sort of under reach.

Thanks Lee.......Those were from the KW kit.... I have small Mack decals that might fit ,,if not I should be able to scan them and make smaller ones on the inkjet decal paper

..........well I worked a couple hours today then came home and the wife and I de-Christmas'd the house ,which is always fun (rolling eye smiley again) I took the outside stuff down yesterday ,,,,thats as much fun as putting it up..if not more ......(picture Chevy Chase...National Lampoon...get my drift ..lol ) put that stuff away which led to a full clean up of the basement storage room. I did manage to do some on the wrecker,,,some I did last night,,,the Revell Chrome , massaged the cab got most of the print lines sanded out and started drilling for the horns,,etc .Started painting the interior tub,,,did a final test shot of the Sikkens FDNY red paint and the mix ratio nailed down 1:1:1/4 paint-reducer-hardener. Making the mirror brackets out of aluminum and use the KW kit mirror heads ,,, see what tomorrow brings !............ohhhhh and I had to fill the air horns,,,they were hollow too

I got all he had the other day to replace the hollow ones from my Revell kit ,,,sorry Ron....I've been looking for the Auslowe ones too ,,nobody has any

Your build is on a roll Dan! Maybe just try and soften the glue joint on the crossmember with Tamiya Thin cement and slowly work it free

That's not that god awful bad,,,the MP8 for the wrecker has a lot of molded in stuff too ...just gotta use some artistic license with the paint brush 😉
