  1. Just the windshield ,I'll use acetate for the side/back
  2. No work today so I had some bench time this morning,,cobbled up some hood hinges.(I'll add more detail, reinforcement angles later) and started modifying the KW radiator into something close to the Mack along with the CAC ,built up some more putty on the hollow air bags,,,should be enough now to contour to shape.
  3. Nice chafe guard on the fuel lines ! Really really nice Brian ! above and beyond!!
  4. The pump looks great all painted up Brian! I have seen that same style Vickers pump used as a power steering pump on a lot of trucks,,,at least back when I was working on them
  5. Gary "........so not sure what I may do." I have this same sign nailed above my bench ! lol !
  6. Hey Gary,,did you consider maybe going with Super Singles on the rears? .........not to upset the apple cart at this point.....lol looks good pal !
  7. This thing has a 5.9 Cummins in it ,,ramp truck
  8. Thanks Lee,,,lots more to do,,that was the easy part
  9. Thanks Maurice! No back half, the Gibson Hemi I got back in the 90's from my local hobby shop that is long gone now and the slicks came from the JoHan Sox & Martin 'cuda kit
  10. Here's pics of the instructions of the engine from the Italeri Volvo kit that the MP8 was derived from
  11. Some progress ,,,,painted engine parts yesterday and assembled some today, wiring and fuel lines will be added too,,,,,the engine did not have the EGR cooler and related parts nor a VGT turbo like the picture so I'm just running with what I got ,,I will be fabricating a CAC though and modifying the Revell KW radiator/fan for the Mack.I also started fixing the hollow air bags and frame rails
  12. From what I was told the MP8 engine kit was derived from an Italeri Volvo kit,,,not sure which one but it originally was a Volvo D13 engine ...I could probably use more like the charge air cooler, radiator and fan but most if not all Italeri kits are 1/24th ,,,, like this one which I've never seen anywhere
  13. .........I usually bite off more than I can chew though....lol!
  14. Brian, not sure where ST got the engine or if he did it himself,,came in a ziplock with his sticker on it really nice!
  15. I got the MP8 today from ST Supply,,,looks fantastic! Comes with a transmission too but mines using the Allison ,probably start building that up Friday...and I'm going to fix the hollow air bags and fill in the frame rail gaps,,,plan on running air lines to the bags, brake chambers ,etc
  16. yeah I screwed up there ,,,and I should have known better even back then
  17. Those Keystones were from the old MRC Muscle Car Hop up wheel set
  18. Had to work today for a few hours and George Logan rolled in with this............another build idea !!!! lol
  19. Thanks Gary ,,,but I think you top me in the scratch building column!!
  20. Same company that I did the Autocar wrecker for George Logan Towing
  21. I'm going to attach the under reach to the back of the body,,,I'm going to start on that this week
  22. More boom pieces assembled,,I will probably prime and paint all this stuff ,,, waiting on the MP8 Mack engine from ST Supply then assemble that and do engine/chassis/cab fitment . Going over the Revell KW frame,,the air bags are molded beautiful on the outside of the frame, ,,insides are hollow, debating whether or not to deal with it ,,I could probably fill with putty and sand or lop it all off and get something aftermarket .
