  1. Warren,my Global Scale Brock came with fuel tanks and air I believe,,,they're pretty close to a Mack tank
  2. That came out nice Warren.........my Global Scale kit came with fuel tanks and air if I'm not mistaken I was referring to the DM 600 and the frame stretch for that,,but yeah when I get to the Brockway build I would use the A-car stuff ,,except with the Detroit
  3. lol,,,depends on how "old" your Old School is ,,Phil ran that car late 80's maybe just into the 90's
  4. Already figured in as far as the frame stretch . I have the 361 Brockway ,will most likely get a 6-71 Detroit and the Montone dump body from the A-car kit
  5. You did a great job on that Jeff ,put the link to that build thread on here ,I tried to find it last night
  6. At the NNL East a guy had one of Global Scales Brockway's with his Leach packer ,,I have a pic I think I posted it on my NNL post ,,looked great ,,I got the Leach and the Brockway but thats gonna be another Montone dump job . The DM600 makes for a good garbage truck! I'm gonna home brew some decals for this one too
  7. Me too,,I'm looking for a day cab conversion kit for mine,,,someone made one ,,can't remember who
  8. That came out great! Nice work with the scratchbuild!
  9. Next project,,,AMT/Ertl DM600 and Karl's (Global Scale Model Trucks) Leach packer 3D print ...I have some interesting decals in mind for it!
  10. Just finished A-1 Raceworks 3D print kit with a Chevy small block from Iceman , Polecat custom made decals
  11. Nice work Bob,,,I might get one of his 600 Micro Sprints ,my son and I go every year to Trenton to watch the Indoor Dirt Nationals at the Cure Arena
  12. Thanks Brian,, there are 2 body panels ,one on each side that go under the nerf bars and mate with the body, I have to see if I can fit them in and still allow the body to be removed ,, if not no biggie,,at least I know the engine is complete under there ,,lol
  13. ...............chassis work in progress,,I added a small block Chevy in place of the non-descript engine that came with the kit ,,same difficulty here with the chassis printed in one piece as far as detail painting ,,,and all the engine details will be hidden once the body is on, their work is really great but A-1 Raceworks who puts out the kits should consider printing them in pieces,,at least the chassis and the body just make the hood removable,,,not complaining ,,just suggesting,,,lol
  14. Thanks guys ,I appreciate it
  15. .........got the body shot,,,what a PITA masking ! ..........out of the dehydrator and decals on one side,,,do the other side when dry and set
  16. My son and I ran karts at Flemington with Ace Lane and his sons ,Jimmy Blewett and Martin Truex Jr ,,,,late 80's early 90's ,, good times
  17. Yeah,,would have been better if it was printed as separate pieces,,same with the body . I don't know what the engine was supposed to be,,looked like hemi heads! Sure wasn't a small block chebbie! Yeah the good old days at Windsor,,,Flemington too,, I go to New Egypt every once and awhile now
  18. For my next build.....picked up this 3D print body/chassis at the NNL East . We sponsored this car back in the 90's ,,,Phil Rys's small block dirt modified ,Pauch/Olsen chassis .I had decals made (not STS) from a guy that just does these dirt cars . I didn't like the engine that came with the kit so I got a SBC from Iceman and will make it work .The picture of the side panel is all thats left of the car and is currently hung up in my son's garage,,with East Windsor dirt still on it!
  19. She's done ,,,"under glass" shout out to Bill Allphin, gtx6970 for sending the single 4bbl Hemi intake!
  20. Tuki's AA/SA 64 Dodge is a wrap
