    Nice work on the lights!
  2. Nice 2012! I built the 2011!! Round headlights, for sure!
  3. As per your suggestion, yesterday I bought the Jan/Feb 2011 Air Brush Action mag with the DVD and just finished watching the DVD - that was way cool, V, thanks for the suggestion!! I've got to get a 4 season set up (it's freakin' cold right now!) for my airbrush, and get busy practicing some of those techniques!!
  4. Wow, some awesome work there! I take it by your November posts that the dioramas were shipped to Ottawa, to the Aviation Museum? I haven't been since they've done the renovation/expansion. I'll have to go check it out, and look for your Dioramas (I live in Ottawa, in Greely (south of the Airport)). Did you build those specifically for the museum, or just donated them to make space? What area of Montreal are you in? I grew up in Pierrefonds, and moved to Ottawa as a teenager in '79. Great work, and love what you are doing now!
  5. Prayers for you and your wife, Ed!!
  6. Check it out folks! Darn cool, Cranky!
  7. Radio Shack was bouhg tout in Canada (by Circuit City) and is now The Source, so Radio Shack isn't what it used to be!! The Source is still the first place I'd look. Your dollar store key fob might be a cheap alternative for bits and parts. Amazing sometimes what you can find in a dollar store for modeling dioramas!
  8. Very cool! Love the shirts!
  9. I was going to guess some kind of Morgan concept car...but they look too aerodynamic!
  10. Gotta get some pictures, but I managed to complete the chassis done on my Trans Am Mustang, worked out and modified the hood so I could mount the wiper (also put a hole in the windshield to mount it), painted the window trim on the windows, and got a coat of primer down. My white primer turned pink, as I thought it might. I think I'll lay down a coat of grey, then another coat of white, before body colour (red and white). I'll try to get some pictures of the progress.
  11. Wicked build! Hope you can get some paint on this successfully (I hate when the paint doesn't work out! I had that recently happen on a build, too).
  12. Cool "what-if" build!
  13. Good luck with this. I'll pass the word along to my model building friends here in Ottawa.
  14. Retired Police dog...just a pet! I just haven't found some inexpensive figures...I got 3 "Spice Girls" on a discount shelf for I think $2. I am always looking for people about the right scale for 1/24-1/25 in the toy departments! The guys are on a pizza run...the girls work on the cars!! Thanks for the comments. I am always looking for bits and pieces to put in the dio!
  15. Nice build!
  16. Looks great!
  17. Nice build, Billy!
  18. Very cool!! Love it, and the story behind it.
  19. Thanks, guys...it is a lot of fun...and hasn't gotten out of hand...yet...
  20. Was tough to choose, but vote for The April Nova! Wonderfully subtle!
  21. Great looking conversion...that is a lot of foiling!! Very nice build!
  22. Just astounding! Love it!!
  23. Great looking build! Love the vast array of Monacos in the back ground!
  24. Thanks for the replies...I had a line on a set of bumpers for the 61, but couldn't get anything at my end to trade. I think there is a 61 Ford out or coming soon, so I'll pick one up. EDIT: http://www.round2models.com/models/amt/ford-styline/product January 2011...
