  1. Very nice build!
  2. "Harvest" is a great album. Some of Neil's best work!! "Harvest Moon" is pretty good, but not the same 'edge' as "Harvest". Your T-Bird idea is much better. Like you said, the '59 roof looks like a GM roof coming and going the same way... Hey, if it means orange (or gold) and wire wheels are out, then at least you have a ton more options to choose from!
  3. Awesome, thanks, Jairus! Much appreciated. I just ordered the Revell 2 in 1 '60 Chevy from my LHS! Now, to find the rest of the parts (wheels and taillights), and think about an appropriate power plant!! Anyone have a set of Revell "Sidewinder" wheels they might like to make a trade for?
  4. Thanks, Fletch! Got it! Thanks Jairus for the offer as well! Here's the artwork I drew...titled "'60 Chevfin". Jairus-If I can ask what the description read that would have gone with the artwork. The changes are subtle, and I love it!!
  5. Sounds like a cool T-Bird! Looks like a great start, too.
  6. I'm having technical difficulties getting an email or PM to you, Fletch - in your profile, email shows private, MSN I've tried, and got an error...I click on the names beside MSN & Yahoo and get an error message...I'm making an effort...even left a note on your profile here...I'm out of ideas...others obviously can get through to you, but I'm not making the connection!
  7. Fantastic! I love the purple paint, and the wheels are fantastic! Nice work!
  8. Very convincing! Nice work!
  9. I like Krylon's new nozzle. You can adjust the spray pattern angle from horizontal to vertical, and all points in between. I found it is no heavier than Tamiya, or Testors out of the rattle can.
  10. Hey, that is sharp!! Nice job!!
  11. I think the stock hood would fit in with the rest of the truck being essentially stock, except for rims and ride height. It's a pretty nice kit, I like the way the windows fit from the outside. All kit glass should be that easy! I built a tow truck out of mine.
  12. Fresh coat of paint just now...Krylon "Pumpkin Orange"...Cheaper than another can of Tamiya orange!! Plus I'll have more for another project! (Not sure how close this would be to a certain Charger, with a number "01" on it.) Anyways, here are a couple of pictures...don't touch, though, the paint is still wet...
  13. Fletch - MSN message failed...not sure why. Can you send me an email I can respond to? Or just e-mail me an entry, please!
  14. Congrats!! Kids sure are a blessing!! Time flies, so do enjoy it while they are young...our baby is 19!(Years old...just bought his first car, too!!)
  15. Looks like a Porsche badge on the nose... Reminded me of the Care Bears cloud car, only red...my kids loved the Care Bears when they were little...I love reminding them of that!!
  16. Fletch - PM sent through MSN.
  17. Sounds like fun! I'll send you a message...
  18. Is there an album of Jairus artwork to choose a possible subject?
  19. Thanks for the comments! Gary - I guess you missed this "Also, got a coat of light wood stain on the balsa floors..." right before the pictures! The kit is nice for what it is, but man did they miss a ton of interior detail! The exterior is fine, and not at all bad, but to do the interior stock you'd have a ton of scratchbuilding to do it right! Considering what Hasegawa charges, and the price Revell charges, and that it is a curbside, this is an expensive kit! The new one might be worth the price of admission. At least I have leeway with the interior details, so it is a custom interior. That is what makes it fun, right!
  20. Awesome! The first one has some other links, too.
  21. Neat build!
  22. Nice build! I've got that kit, and I hope mine comes out as good as yours did!
  23. Genius! Thanks for sharing!! That made my day!!
  24. Finally had some bench time for this one...got a coat of paint on it, over some red oxide primer. Got the interior panels done, and wheels & tires on...bit of dry brushing on the chassis...I'll give the paint a few days to gas out, get another can, and give it a bit of a sanding to smooth it out some. Also, got a coat of light wood stain on the balsa floors... Paint is Tamiya Orange in the spray bomb...Enjoy!
