  1. Thanks, Tom. Thanks, Mike. I appreciate the comments. I'm liking how it's turning out so far.
  2. Thanks, Jerred...Interior is done - I integrated the driver's side of the 70 TA dash into the Camaro Concept dash - added the 70 steering wheel, too. It's going to stay as a curbside.
  3. Thanks! Been ignoring it too long though!! Here's a few pictures: Shaker taped underneath Enjoy!
  4. Okay, so here are the pictures! Here's the void I found after priming. Fresh paint on the roof! '69 Camaro SS grille, back-filed to open it up - May add the kit centre badge with decal-will decide later! Enjoy!
  5. Not much to update on this one other than a coat of paint on the body (finally!). This has been one of those that has been languishing on the workbench, just waiting to be finished - I'll see if I can get this one done. (Pictures to follow)
  6. Quick update - will take some pics later - have done a bit of work on this - interior is coming along, chassis is painted, engine done, rear of exhaust formed in solder-from small rear mufflers back (rear suspension is too low to run them under the axle, and interfered with the rear wheels, too!). Got a coat of primer on the body after filling the trunk lock, and white paint on the roof. Still need to get some aluminum tubing to form the exhaust outlets, found a small moulding flaw in the body in the right rear corner below the fin that will need some fill before a coat of paint on the lower body.
  7. Nice! Love the roof!
  8. Boat is fantastic - van and trailer, too!! Awesome!!
  9. Great paintwork, and a fantastic trio of models!! Nice!!
  10. Just plain awesome, man!! Like they say: I'd rather have a bad day golfing, than a good day at work!!
  11. Nice project - you are making great progress!
  12. Cool, thanks - Starting Line will be close to my daughter's place, so I'll probably check that one out first!! Thanks, James!! Much appreciated!!
  13. Leading Edge and Starting Line...Got it! Next time I'm in Kingston, I'll have to get to at least one of them!
  14. Welcome! Will look forward to seeing your builds!
  15. Hey James...Welcome from another Ontarian! My daughter goes to Queen's...can you recommend a hobby shop in Kingston??
  16. Awesome!! Thanks, Bradley!!
  17. Great!! Out of curiosity...What is the end date?
  18. Great looking paint! This is coming along nicely! I had a bicycle banana seat with that blue shiny vinyl with silver metallic sparkles on it as a kid!!
  19. Only place in Canada you drive North to get to the US!
  20. Wow, that looks fabulous!! It looks like the real deal! Nice job!
  21. Great colour! '60s car needs Cragar S/S wheels!!
  22. Got it up in the office at home, and will put it up at work when I'm back in on Thursday!! Thanks, Jerry!!!
  23. I have tried a couple of things - One is a very fine marker after paint. I found it too dark. I will be trying the black marker before paint to see if it give me results I like better. Another way I've seen somewhere was to use a thinned darker shade of the same colour (dark blue for a medium blue paint) thinned and flowed into the panel separation line. Makes it more like a shadow. Here's a recent example of a marker used after paint.
  24. Very cool build! I like it!! I do recall a magazine article about some GM test cars. One was a Chevette that was nearly produced, it had a V6, and a cowl hood bulge from a Citation X-11 grafted to the hood. It performed pretty well, and could give the Z-28 of the day a run for it's money! Probaly why it wasn't built!!
