  1. Looks like a great start, Peter.
  2. Box arrived in the mail yesterday, but haven't had time to even open it!!
  3. Thanks for the update, and glad that things are looking up. Will keep you in my prayers.
  4. My prayers for you and your wife, Johnny.
  5. Nope. No progress at all!
  6. Thanks for the tutorial on doors. Great idea.
  7. Nice touch! They look real good. Just have to ask, as I noticed it while looking back at your headlight wiring harness - are you planning on painting the insides of the front fenders? I'd hate for you to get all these awesome little details, and miss something like that. EDIT-I noticed in the 3rd picture actually that you've got what looks like grey primer on that wasn't in the first 2 pics (first post on this page above), so I'm taking my observation back!!
  8. Over 20,000 views, and 500 posts...wow. Romell... Nice.
  9. I had a couple of bottles like that! I'll have to look if I still have them...
  10. Stunning build. You deserved that cool trophy! Looking forward to the trailer!
  11. Looks good, Marty! The chassis and interior look great!
  12. Coming along nicely, Romell! Thinking about the fuel comment. How about oil in the motor that shows on the dipstick? Something to think about...maybe the next model...
  13. #2 for sure - they really look the nicest to my eye.
  14. Romell - What can I say that hasn't been said...I'm blown away!! Awesome! The lug nuts just knock it right out of the park. Oh, and you have a lovely photographer!
  15. I really like your paint job! Looks great on the Camaro! The Revell 69 Camaro grilles are great for opening them up. I did that on my Baldwin Motion grille, and the one I used to replace a 60 Impala grille. I used the Dremel with a sanding drum to get most of the plastic down, going slowly, and checking progress. Then switched to a course flat file, then a finer file, before finishing with some 600 grit paper. Didn't have much clean up after that. You have to be careful, as there isn't much support left, and it could be broken if you aren't careful. So...with regard to your request for suggestions. If you are going to use black and tangello underhood, I'd go with the tangello on the engine, and black on the surrounding areas (firewall, fenders, rad support). That will allow the engine to stand out. You could do the chassis floor in tangello to match the lower body, then the front sub frame could be black, or tangello. Have fun deciding!!
  16. I haven't been able to watch SPEED since they moved it up into the premium cable at further added cost... When I was able to watch it, some of my favourite programs were the de Cadinet series mentioned, as well as the series "Car and Track", which had great early NASCAR coverage, as well as other forms of racing, not to mention their road tests of new cars! What a blast! I really liked the early coverage of the B-J auctions, even the repeats back then. "Behind the Headlights" was another one. With so much ###### on TV, I've missed it, but not that much!!
  17. Good to hear you got through it well. Now the recovery...take it easy, and you'll be dancing a jig before ya know it!! Take care!!
  18. Looks great, Peter! I've got a few ideas bouncing around right now...
  19. Man, that is some great line work you got going there. Nicely done!
  20. Sounds intriguing. I love warbirds. Upgrading to modern gear sounds like fun.
  21. Thanks Tristan, Jim & Lee. I appreciate the comments so much!
  22. Nice looking build!
  23. I'm planning on building the same red plastic monster, Greg!! I'm thinking box stock for mine. Haven't done more than a little bit of flash clean-up, on this and the other red plastic FOX (I'm a sucker!) I plan to build, the SVO. I just finished up two builds, so I'm starting to make room for these on the bench.
  24. That would make a cool picture, all 6 together...just a thought!!
