  1. Looks good so far, Peter. As to your door dilemma, how about dropping down into the rockers, rolling under the floor? A company had made concepts to the design using mid 90s T-Birds, if I recall correctly. I'll email you the wmv file a friend sent me.
  2. Looks like it started as a Ford Aerostar. Must say that points for originality sure are due! Amazing work even though some of the execution is shakey. Thanks for sharing that! He sure won't see another one just like it on the street!!
  3. Life does tend to interfere with leisure, and hobbies, doesn't it? Hopefully you have had your "fair share", Peter!! I know sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches!!
  4. Nice to hear about some good news!!
  5. Looks great, Jim. Nice touches throughout!
  6. Timely topic! I just yesterday pulled out a project that I started at least 15 years ago. Revel '69 Baldwin-Motion Camaro. I have a magazine article with a green B-M Camaro as the reference (April 1991 Motor Trend!). I killed one body, bought another kit and started another body (Tamiya Park Green over the red plastic), got a coat of paint on it and put it away. Chassis is pretty much done, as is the interior. I need to put some sanding on the body, put the decals on, and clear it. I know it is a pain to get the body on the chassis, so I will have to do a bit of select trimming to get the body on the chassis right. Hopefully, I don't get a major fail in getting the body and chassis together!
  7. Wow! Even more amazing pictures!! Some more real cool stuff there!! Thanks!
  8. Thanks for adding more pics Mike. Fantastic!
  9. Thanks for starting up this forum. I enjoy it quite a lot, and it is about the only model forum I go to.
  10. Wow, one of my favourite shows growing up, er, when I was a kid, er, when I was younger...(Never growing up, still a kid) I'd love to see more!!
  11. 4 door newer cars - mainstream stuff, like Ford Focus, Taurus. Wagons of all types would be cool too. I've owned two wagons that I'd like to make models of someday - 1977 Ford LTD II squire, and 2000 Ford Taurus LX. How about a mid-80s rental fleet? Ford Tempo, Chev Cavalier, that type. Others that would be fun builds are early 90s GM wagons, like Caprice and Buick Roadmaster. How about a 94 Impala SS phantom? Late 80s full-size wagons like the square GM, and Ford would be neat. Early 70s big 3 4 door low line fleet cars, taxis, police cars, fire chief, etc would make for some fun too. Okay...that's a start!!
  12. Wow, great work! Looks fantastic!!
  13. Very nice build. Just over the top!! Try a curbside kit, box-stock...I dare ya!!
  14. Swweeeetttt!!!
  15. Personally, the 4-door Charger should have continued the Intrepid name (the rear styling is almost a carry-over from the last Intrepid), and a 2-door variant should have had the Charger name. I've driven the police-package 6-cyl equipped Chargers at work, and they are a nice enough car (the police didn't want them, so they went out to the city fleet, and we got some of them). Terrible in deep snow. Still, a capable car, peppy enough for traffic. Some visibility issues compared to the other car we use, the Impala. Smallish back seat, which is why the police didn't want them-no place to put feet when the divider is installed. Would I buy one? Probably not. Challenger is the car the Charger should have been, a 2-door retro muscle car.
  16. A quick Google search came up with this: http://rmrresin.webs...ringcontact.htm Hope it helps - the Suburban wasn't listed. Oh, and what a great build! Love it!!
  17. Looks great. Nicely built.

    Zingers!

Nice colour! I've got the Super Volks to build. I like the A100, too.

    Imagine this

    Wow, neat!! Nice work!
  21. Cool, Matt! Nice job. One thing I'd consider adding. Take pictures of your Dad's licence plates, resize and print them out for your model. Would give it a nice touch, I think. I did find Ontario plate decals a few years ago, and there were some blanks, and separate letters so you could replicate any plate, and even the renewal sticker for the rear.
  22. Fantastic!! Nicely done!
