  1. Nice builds. Looks like the same bus model I just got done with (Hasegawa in a Revell box).
  2. Nice looking build so far. I like the colour.
  3. This one is done. Krylon Pumpkin Orange, Tamiya greys on the inside and the sunroof, partsbox wheels and tires, balsa wood floors, scratchbuilt pedals, and parking brake handle, etc. More pics here . The build thread is here. Enjoy!
  4. Finished this one up last night. Will put it "Under Glass".
  5. Okay, went through my kits and decided to dust off a couple of oldies...Monogram '85 Mustang SVO and Revell Rousch #1 Whistler Mustang (Trans Am race car). Both are molded in red plastic...
  6. Pretty cool! Countach. (pronounced "coontash")
  7. Looks like it is coming along nicely...cool build!
  8. Progress, Jason...nicely done!! Despite all of the interruptions! That's what is supposed to make this hobby "relaxing"!! It is easy to walk away from the bench for a while to chill...
  9. Eelco - That's cool...no problem! Glad you found something better!! Here's what I drew for the build: Got the kit for my build, just waiting on the wheels to come in the mail from Ken. Once I start building, I'll start my own build thread. Here's the kit box: Has '59 Caddy taillights in the kit! Nice! Saves me scratching, or robbing a kit or two!
  10. Stan's builds are amazing! Wow! What a great talent. @Eelco - PM sent to you re the 34 firewall.
  11. I'd love to build one...I've got a number of Cougars, T-Birds and Mustangs to choose from that would fit, so I'd have to take a look and see if one inspires me to make a choice.
  12. Very nice build!! Very very nice!!
  13. I picked up my '60 Chevy kit from the LHS last night! Gotta get to the bench and start planning, and fitting! Nice that the kit has '59 Caddy taillights already! Nice!
  14. Nice work on Reaver. Looks like an effective light armour quick attack vehicle. Might need to up the armour if the opposition gets any ideas!!
  15. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30066 Check this thread out for the answer!
  16. There were a number of companies that converted VW Type 2s to campers, usually based on the Kombi (cargo van with some side windows, 3 per side). Sundial, EZ-Camper, and Westfalia were the most common (there were others), and I believe that Westfalia was the only company that was authorized by VW, as they were sold through VW dealerships (later versions, anyway). I don't think any VW bus was 6 feet wide inside.
  17. Welcome, Murphy! This is a great place to learn about models, and a great bunch here too.
  18. Hey where'd all the pictures go? Really need some pics, folks... There are some cool builds and ideas coming from this, and the pictures are what gives it the gusto. My opinion.
  19. Portland Roadster Show - Sounds great, Fletch...can't wait for pictures! -Got my '60 Chev on hold at the LHS. Will pick it up Tues evening when I go there. Have a set of wheels coming in the mail (Thanks, Ken!).
  20. Eelco - I found the body, I'll snap a picture tomorrow night, and post it.
  21. Very nice build!!
  22. Nice job on those!
  23. Eeelco - I haven't forgotten you, I just haven't had a chance to look yet. This "life" and "job" thing keeps getting in the way...
  24. Hmm...Could be. I'd have to do some digging to find it. Give me a day or two...
