Tinkering with grille/bumper ideas. This grille looks good, but i think it leaves a little to be desired ?. I really like the bumpers. I would like to get it lower. I think the wheels i have fit on there are too big. These will allow it to sit lower, especially in the back, and retain a reasonable steering ability.

The coupe was a killer build! Yours is looking good! I've got a GTX kit I'm not going to use the decals from. You're more than welcome to them.

@Ace-Garageguy & @M W Elky Thank You for your reference photos. I'm not digging the "way back" position at all. I'll straighten this out when I'm back home. @Ace-Garageguy I'm looking forward to trying it. I was just watching a couple of videos on YouTube about gradient painting. This guy makes it look real easy. https://youtu.be/WOds7UCdGuU?si=B_vcnO8P3AM7kjye

Doing more research on the front axles placement. Maybe it's how the engineer designed it to look for the kit? I'm going to attempt a paint job similar to the gold one.

What are your thoughts on the gold glue? Where did you find the markers? The car looks great! -
One thing you can do with your flocking is use the same color paint as the flocking used. Paint a section, then put the flocking on. That way if there's a light spot, it's hard to tell.

We are road tripping this week. I brought 2 kits and 3 engines to build while parked in the evening. I built one of these for my Daughter In Law last year for her office. I really like this kit. I am going to make a few changes though. I dropped the front end and may drop the rear a tad. I've got a a blown big block Chevy from ICEMAN for Projext X, so the Blown 392 may find it's way into this one...or, a dual plug Hemi for some REAL go fast! I got to visit with Rob Ida on Friday. Super nice guy! He has his Willys he built in his show room.

I'm thinking the same thing. It'll have to wait until I'm back in the Plasti-Shak and have all of my tools within arms reach.
