  1. I channeled War and my inner "Striper"
  2. Well, it's not 1990 anymore.
  3. If you search resin wheels on Ebay, Jaysresinwheels should pop up. If he doesn't have something readily available, he may print some for you. I had him print a set for the Moebius wrecker before the kit landed. Check 3dscaleparts.com too.
  4. The rear glass looks better with the Modge Podge on the inside. Few small details left and this one is done.
  5. I love the Testors light paints. I applied the red stripe in Testors red enamel. I used tape, but its still a little messy. I'm going to tidy it up after I do the side stripe. I applied Modge Podge Dimensional Magic to the rear window. We'll see if it helps brighten it up some 😁
  6. I'm going to cut the pins and use E6000 to attach the wing. That w a u it's self adjusting at high speeds 🤣
  7. Not perfect, but passable in my book. Sanded to 12,000 then polished with Novus 1 & 2.
  8. Well dad burn it! I filled the 2 sink holes in the bottom of the trunk wing. I haven't painted it yet, so, I drilled the holes in the deck lid for the pins on the wing. I didn't see the other set of holes because I painted over them testing my black paint mixture. 🤕 The 2 sets of holes isn't mentioned in the instructions. I should've looked.....
  9. Got under hood details and window trim painted. Hope to have it mostly completed tomorrow 😁
  10. Looks angry
  11. I've never seen one.
  12. You have a point. My car has 5 ashtrays and 2 cigarette lighters in it. 1 in the passenger door armrest, 1 in each rear armrest, 1 between the rear bucket seats with a lighter, and 1 in the dash, there's a lighter in the dash also.
  13. Maybe the ashtray is in the center armrest that's flipped up. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  14. Awesome. Let us know how that chrome works out.
  15. How's this one coming along?
  16. Thank you for your suggestion. I'm still planning to finish this one. I just took a break for a bit.
  17. Productive day. The distributor and wires are installed with separators and hold down! That bolt head is tinier than tiny! I've got some detail painting to do under the hood. I need to cut the exhaust pipes even, add the red stripe to the side, glass, assemble, decals, lights.....I think that's it. Then I can jump on the ZL1.
  18. These things are so tiny!
  19. A nod to the W30s.
  20. I really like the color of the '70 455s. I think it will look great under this silver hood. I painted the calipers with Tamiya flat red, the put clear red over that.
  21. This stuff is messy, but it sure does look good.
  22. Working on the chassis details so I can get the wheels on. The passenger side exhaust manifold isn't aligned for the pipes to clear. Gotta adjust that.
