  1. So did I, its my profile pic right now, it looks so good. Also nice work on this skyline.
  2. Got these from a local model car show. I bought the AMT 40 willys, the polar lights gas ronda 69 mustang, and the ARII ferrari bb 52 which is actually a complete tamiya ferrari f40 on the inside, all models I have been wanting to get for a long time. On the other hand, I bought 6 raffle tickets for $5 and 4 of them won. I am no means an airplane builder BUT... all they had at the table by the time I got there were airplane kits. Ended up grabbing a Hasagawa p51d mustang, a revell spitfire mk1, a AMT (matchbox) Curtiss sb2c-1 helldiver, and the last one I ended up giving to a family friend's kid. They attended the show just to see what it was all about, I probly won't ever build all of these kits so had to pass it down and let him pick one of the 4, it was some vietnam era US ARMY jet from fugimi. Oh and the Thunderbird SC coupe, my dad bought it for his college roommate who used to have one (the one bad thing is it smells like cigarettes 🤦‍♂️).
  3. I stand corrected, that's going to be way cooler and way wilder!
  4. Sall this daytona, pretty cool.
  5. Hell Yeah! I agree with bill-e-boy, a suicide front suspension would look more at home on a show rod, pretty much all of them have them (straight axle ones at least).
  6. Welp, I had a little bit of a painting fail (got my thinner to paint ratio wrong) so into the purple pond it went. After I got it stripped I decided I wanted to remove the side and back trim because racecar. Thanks
  7. Man, this thing is cool Bob, cant wait to see what you do with it.
  8. The idea of racing is to spend the least amount of time actually racing.
  9. Thanks for the advice, I presume that a dry spray means that it was too thin? If that's the case it makes sense, i thinned it 50/50 like you would Testors or Tamiya, but apparently you are supposed to thin MCW enamels 70/30. Probably just my bad memory because this is not my first time spraying MCW enamels 😭.
  10. I was a couple coats deep into my paint job ready for my final coat, loaded up my airbrush for one more and POOF! What the heck happened, its almost like my airbrush started shooting webs!? For context, I was using MCW enamel thinned 50/50, around 22 psi, and an Iwata gravity fed eclipse HP-CS. Now the car sits in the purple pond waiting for another chance at life. Thanks for any of your expertise you could provide. Elliot
  11. Yeah, might be expensive, but I have a guy. Never would I ever trust some place like west music, they charge out the nose.
  12. Love to see your back on this one! I like the trim.
  13. Had a little oopsie during marching band practice, slipped down a wet hill. Not proud of it, the thing was $100 and had a lot of tarnish, but at least it was straight.
