  1. I agree with Harry, but as for the stance, I would lower the nose a touch to bring the front fender linse closer to level. Other wise looks like it will be cool! Paul

  4. Trailer wise, all that were mentioned but lets add a STECCO (?) demo trailer and a 'b' 61 or 81 Mack.The b 61 was the first one I ever drove, no Air no brakes.... Wheeee! Air assist steering , Air start and a Quad box. Paul
  5. Yeah they did! I have a 41 Chevy rag top , I think the 41 to 48 GM's had the combo right. I photo shopped the bed ...you're right kills the look. Paul

  7. Nice job so far. One thought, with a false floor you could raise the bed so the top is even with the cab character line. leave the fenders down where they belong , with a filler between the bed bottom and the chassis. Just a thought. Paul

  12. I sent Revell, Revell of Germany ( they are seperate now ) ERTL and Italeri a suggestion that if we cannot get new kits, how about "parts packs tractor upgrades" or customizing kits like Revell did for pick ups in the mid 70's. Paul
  13. It is the straight 6 from the kit ,with aluminum valve cover and tri power fronm the Galaxie 1948 Chevy kit and the split dual exhaust from the Revell 1953 Corvette kit . 6=8 Paul
  14. If Italeri or Revell listen ,they could easily do a Sterling off one of there Ford kits . Paul
  15. I agree about looking right,but sometimes I get mule headed ! Did anyone try moving the bumper forward with spacers? It's to late for mine. Paul
  16. I lowered the bumper ..after playing with modified hinges,popping off the cab and sleeper. Nothing worked. I always thought I was the screw up. NOT revell!! Paul

I tried thie to relace rivets on an Italeri Western Star, a dulled point on a tooth pick (how much you flatten the point ,makes the rivet bgger or smaller ) touch the tooth pick to a medium thickness super glue and touch it where you want a rivet. It takes a few times to master it, but the end result works. Paul

  19. This was a fun build...No detail parts at all.I just wanted to do a no thought , no stress model. Kind of a late 60's early 70's home built East Coast coupe. tri power 348 from 58 chevy , 3 speed stick , Camaro high back bucket seats , east coast channel job and zeed chassis and the tire of choice for my age group.... Indy style WIDE! Paul
  20. This is the Revell 41 chevy with the Galaxie wheels ,tirers and caps. The Galaxie speed equipment on motor . Paint is GM Forest Green metallic, black fenders and pale green stripe. kind of a gentleman farmers truck. Paul
  21. This is from the latest Ertl reissue. Tamiya Mica red over Silver base, pearl clear. Interior and half top are Tamiya pearl white and clear red accents. White walls from parts box.The hood trim is a Mylar tape from R/C boat kit. Paul

  24. April 1967 Rod and Custom did aspread on an Allison power BMW ISETTA , called ALSETTA saw it run once at national Speedway on Long Island WOW!!!!!!!! Paul Cheshire
  25. Rod and Custom had a high boy of the month contest in the late 60's for those style street freaks, I recall you got a years subscription and a 50 dollar bill for the tallest from ground to center of head lights. Here is one of my gassers 292 6 cylinder powered!! Paul
