  2. I have found that a coat or 2 of Tamiya clear smoke ,gives the head lights and back up lights a more realistic look. It gives the a more shadowy look. Paul

  7. :idea:I went to the local home center (HOME DEPOT) and got a scrap piece of the 1 1/2" thin black plastic pipe.It's got a very thin wall and can be glued with Zap or any other type of "crazy glue" or Plastruct liquid works fine. Paul
  8. I was doing the final sanding on my 06 Dodge wagon and needed to blow of some dust. Not wanting to use my air compresser or my weak lungs ,I hit on an idea... Computer air!! The air cans that are used for cleaning the key boards and other parts! Perfect for doing small chores at th hobby bench!!! Paul :idea:
  9. WOW looks great so far!! A REAL WORLD HOT ROD!!! Needs a fornt mounted fueler dual magneto and 8 dual pl;ugs heads to go over the top,IT IS COOL!!!! Paul :wink:
  10. This is a fill in while my 78 Monte is curing. It is made in to a hardtop, LED lights in rear bumper, Hood carricture line removed, the grill? haven't settled on mesh or billit style. lowered slightly with rear wheel wells opened up. I plan on all of the trim being done in BMF Chrome in stead of black. Kind of a retro 50's /60's sport wagon style. Opinions ? Paul
  11. Here it is in color!! Tamiya Turquise and Rose , with Pearl clear coat. Still need to finish the graphics on color line and Aluminum panels in engine bay. Thanks Paul

  19. I clamped and rubber banded it together to do the final fit of the chassis and the interior assembly. basically just test fitted together. I found NO warps or other issues with the kit. Paul
  20. The 1978 monte kit is a bone stocker, but 90% of the Revell 1967 Chevelle pro street parts are drop in or work with minimal mods. I'll post better pics of chassis mods and interior mods soon. Paul
  21. It is the 1/25 scale Trumpeter 1978 Monte Carlo kit, Very detailed kit of the 3rd gen Monte , trumpeter # 2505 . I'll do this on and maybe a early 80's street machine. Paul
