  1. What a great thread, some really outstanding models.
  2. Thanks so much to everyone for the kind comments. I debated going tan on the interior but almost every one I've seen was black over tan, so I went a little different. The blue is plain old Ace Hardware navy, no pearl or flake. It really is a sharp looking car, one of the best looking pre-war designs IMO.
  3. Thanks Eric. And yes, Art is knocking this one out of the park. Mine will be pretty much OOB, I may add plug wires since they are so prominent.
  4. Very cool, love the "Smokin' Joe" car. Great looking collection.
  5. Very nice! I took my driver's test in one of those, was a breeze to parallel park
  6. Maybe save the wires for a future build? Write things down and enjoy the summer, they're too short!
  7. As for the Fords, I would love a '61 Econoline or one of those early Transits. There is some seriously cool stuff there.
  8. I'm just starting this kit, won't be anywhere near as detailed as this! I'm amazed at what you've done so far, this is not a big model. Art, where did you get a reference for the engine color? I've done a couple of google searches and they all seem to be black, dark green, or dark blue?
  9. Beautiful car, love that paint scheme.
  10. Finished this one up last night. I really need to work on my photography. Kit went together very well, the up-top was warped or I would have used that, may try to straighten it later. As always, comments welcome, thanks for looking.

    Fiat Abarth

    Very nice, thanks for sharing!
  12. Nice looking modified!
  13. Very nice work.
  14. I like it!
  15. Great looking model.
  16. It'll be OK Rich! You were putting them out pretty quickly there, time to take a breather and recharge.
  17. Wow, that's really nice. Great work as we've come to expect from your bench!
  18. Keep it going, looks great!
  19. Very cool. Nice work on the understructure!
  20. Fine work!
  21. Those cutaways are cool. Is the bottom one a Ford GT?
  22. Looking good, nice work on that engine. Ernie was always a favorite, had to be good to be tapped by Dale Sr.
  23. Followed the WIP and another outstanding replica. The wood work is truly inspired. The only nit I have is the shade of yellow, seems a bit "loud" for the distinguished gentlemen at the country club Maybe the photos overemphasis a bit?
  24. What they said. There is so much wrong with this that it's just right
