  1. Agreed. Great that you can relive being with your dad and hopefully can pass along something to your son. Stay safe.
  2. Very nicely done! Clean paint and foil work. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Great model! A bit different from your usual Cup car or import sedan.
  4. I learned to drive in mom's red '64, buckets with auto on the console, even parallel parked it. I've got a glue bomb to replicate it, watching with great interest.
  5. Nice! Always happy to see open-wheel racers.
  6. Very well done. Jim Hall was definitely ahead of his time with aero tricks!
  7. Very nicely done, the interior and trunk tool kit are very impressive! Love the dio setting too.
  8. Beautiful job! Many folks are unaware of the convertible division back then. It's my understanding that many cars had the roof adapted to bolt on so the same car could run both divisions.
  9. Very nice, love that color!
  10. Another incredible build from your bench! Love the color and the dog dishes make it look mean. The flattened tires are subtle but effective.
  11. Very well done!
  12. Eric, what did you use for the fenders on the stock build? I'd like to do that with my kit.
  13. Nice! Ronny Bouchard is a name I haven't heard in a long time.
  14. I have this kit and am watching with great interest. What is the reason for the "Black-it" process, will paint not adhere to the copper? Also wondering about the annealing, why you are doing it and is it necessary? Thanks in advance and for posting this WIP. I really don't want to mess up this rather pricey kit!
  15. Looks great Dan! A simple build is good for the soul.
  16. Outstanding replica! Really well done, the engine detailing is spot on.
  17. It has a somewhat weird assembly sequence. I built the frame/running gear first and then discovered there are pins on the rear springs that fit into the body, i had to cut them off to get everything lined up FYI.
  18. First completion of the year, life has been getting in the way of bench time. Another outstanding ICM kit with excellent detail and some very fragile parts. Out of the box except for the paper straps on the front "awning". I really enjoyed building this, comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  19. Completely changes the character of that body, makes it look "Pontiac" to my eye. Well done.
  20. Another beauty from your bench, well done.
  21. I love seeing more brass cars on here, thanks for posting. I've followed your work on the Automotion site.
  22. Very nice. Clean modeling.
  23. That's a beautiful car! Really hope no one wants to steampunk it
  24. Beautiful job, great color!
