One of my dad's old kits, originally completed in 1983, when he was a kid (see "Blast From the Past Camaro"). It was also taken apart so I could build it. Originally molded in yellow, my dad hadn't painted it, but had cut a large hole in the hood having a massive blower sticking out, and painted the hood and trunk flat black. We decided to build it the right way, for it's second life. This is the original 1979 AMT "Snakebite" Shelby GT500. The box was long gone, so my dad re-created it since he works at a print shop. The hole in the hood was filled with another piece of plastic. This kit was completed October 28th, 2021. Should've been built like this the first time.
