Virgil, here is how I have had models shipped to me, wrap it in paper towels and put it in a model box full of packing peanuts, then put that in a padded box. If it won't be seen I leave it alone. Mold lines I hardly do anything with. If they are really obvious I cut them down with an Xacto and maybe sand them down.

You can always build it with what you got now, then pick up some things later on and then rebuild it.

Goethe get all the info you can on the store like store number and call the headquarters and complain. Maybe that will fix it.

Ok guys got my 99 Silverado coming along. Modified USA 1 Monster truck suspension cut off wheel stems and drilled a small hole on both sides. Had to do a little repair on this one Good leaf spring, bad mounting bracket. Bad leaf spring, good mounting bracket. Wheels and tires from Dukes Monster truck Question, tires suppose to be mounted tread arrow point forward or backward? Had to cut the tank and cross members out, no worries, more will be added. And a quick mock up I have the front axle mounted, need to draw up some mounting points for the rear. Got some heavy duty weaponry going on this thing.

Great job so far mike! by the way could you take a picture of your booth? If there already is one, point me in that direction. I am in a new rental and don't want to get paint on anything.

Rob, I hadn't noticed that it wasn't suppose to be that low, but thinking back at my past builds I do remember I couldn't get it to sit lower because of the cross member. I do like the idea of cutting off the front and putting a vette engine in it though.
