  1. Thanks, count me in also, this is the era of trucks I remember as a kid that got me interested in truck modeling, but couldn't really build exactly what I was looking for with all the wide nose kits that were pushed by AMT.
  2. You did it again, excellent fleet truck build, one of your best!. Super realistic looking, everything is spot on for a hard working, no frills rig in linehaul service. Really like the upgraded tire and wheel choice and especially the Rockwell rear hubs, a crucial detail IMO.
  3. Looks great, a very specialized piece of equipment. Nice fabrication work. After watching older TV series re runs, you often notice studio trucks in the background, but they were simple common box trucks.
  4. Wow, that is one huge garbage hauler, hope the Soprano's ordered this DM 600 with an automatic trans. Super realistic looking, great color choices, very nice build!
  5. Impressive piece of apparatus! Really like the classic White cab and fabrication work, looks super sharp!
  6. Thanks again for all the likes on this build.
  7. Nice project. I have always been fond of the long wheelbase rigs. Great detailing work!
  8. Fantastic build! Really appreciate all the extra work to make this project happen. Super realistic, ready for the next paving job!
  9. A 3d resin print of the '69 Dodge 4x4. Very good quality and went together well. Printed by member zaina. Wheels and hubcaps ( probably more appropriate if 2WD) are aftermarket offerings.
  10. Right, now that the '60 kit is readily available and one of AMT's best sellers, it would be IMO, a no brainer. I believe, and sure others believe also, the '59 is a cleaner fresher easier to look at front end than the '60's front end. I personally would purchase 4 or 5 quality '59 conversion kits ( grill with hood , including mesh piece and letters and side hood emblems) by who ever offers them first.
  11. Look forward to the build. Juice or Air? Budds or Spokes?
  12. The same 8' '57-'60 bed was used on '62- '63 2WD and '62-'65 4WD F 100's. Also used on '62-'63 2WD and '62-'66 4WD F 250. A longer 9' version was used on the 61-'66 F 350 pickups. '64-'66 F 100 2WD never came with the '57-'60 bed. The '57-60 bed could be used on the Moebius '65 if built as a 4WD F 100 or F 250 or '66 F 250 4WD
  13. A '61 Heavy Chevy is available. Hopefully a GMC is in the works.
  14. Or a 3d resin U Haul body, here is a nice one in much smaller scale, the very popular '76-'79 "TC" No automatic, no AC, no power windows or steering in those days. 1:87 scale 76 Ford U-Haul - Imgur
  15. Agreed, AMT chose, for whatever reason, a low production extra long wheel base camper hauler version for there Ford pickup kit of the 70's. I think we deserve an update 5 decades later.
  16. Some of us want the the '55 Big Jobs. Still waiting for a high quality 3d resin in 1/25. Would be nice if we got the big 317 Lincoln V8 too.
  17. Or the Gulf version. Base model with zero moldings. Standard 8' bed for a correct 4x4.
  18. Available now! Moebius 1970 Ford F-350 Ramptruck 1:25 Racecar Car Hauler truck model kit 2588 | eBayw My to do items, remove unnecessary moldings on cab, and replace kit wheels with a much more realistic aftermarket resin Budd wheels .🚚 3d printable truck wheels with dual rear・ STL File for ・Cults
  19. Thanks for all the positive comments. Hope these conversions get back into circulation.
  20. Used one of my last AITM conversion kits to build a '65 single drive 281. Went with dual headlights and Stabilaire rear suspension on this build. Under hood is the 250 Cummins, the standard Peterbilt engine in this era. Wheels are aftermarket resin pieces and tires are real rubber Double Takes. Paint was Testors Champagne Gold Metallic
  21. Beautiful job, paint, interior, chassis and upgrades are outstanding. This build could have actually really existed in 1:1 by Ford back in the day. Many pickups in this era came with special "car only" cool metallic colors. Also, Ford was testing the twin I beam and 300's and 352's in earlier '63 model pickups well before the official introduction in '65.
  22. Great transformation to a simple old school base model pickup, really like the color choices, 6 cyl., stock wheels and silver caps instead of chrome caps. This build reminds us of when the no nonsense look was the majority!
  23. Nice find, great choices on upgrades, should really transform the kit!
