  1. Great job, quality of work is outstanding!
  2. Great looking build, detailing work is outstanding! Really like the mirror upgrade, front fender correction and paint scheme!
  3. The conversion was well worth the effort, looks great.
  4. Great looking Macks, detail work is very impressive for 1/32! Like the contrasts between owner operator and fleet truck.
  5. Suspension system looks similar to the Reyco type used on the WF DD. I'm thinking Garwood refuse body🙂
  6. Nice to see one of these Stratos, one of the best engineered kits out there. Great job on the vintage KW, color combo looks very 50's.
  7. Right, a great conversion kit to a '57. Just a grill change won't work, hood, fenders and bumper used are completely different than that of a '60. Hopefully we see a '58 and '59 conversion kit from Best Model Car Parts also, because we won't see it from AMT.
  8. Back in the day wide base steel wheels and 12-16.5" tires were popular with camper pickups, usually just used on rear only with standard narrow wheels on front. Fireball has some wide 9.75" 8 lug 16.5" wheels (fronts and rears) and 12-16.5" HIGHWAY tires, another wish has come thru. Great for use with the AMT Ford F 350 Super Camper Special kits and of course the Moebius '67-'72 series. Thanks Fireball!
  9. Thanks for all the positive comments! Forgot to mention the saddle fuel tanks were AITM. The inspiration photos.
  10. Or the even beefier 6500 series with larger front bumper! (same front bumper used on Crackerbox's)
  11. Beautiful build, you captured the look and feel perfectly. Not easy to do this conversion, you have my respect, I've been begging for a resin mid 60's freightliner cab for years for us lower skilled builders. What did you use for the fender lip?
  12. Finally finished this vintage tanker project, used the Frontier resin Ford cab and Keystone resin single axle tanker. Both resin pieces required some putty work and reworking. Engine is a C series 534, trans is a KW 5 speed, frame used was shortened GMC Astro.
  13. This topic came up a while back, IMO, the Mack R685 engine appears to have the right dimensions of a big 6 gas job.
  14. Hubcaps for '60 F 100's were always painted argent silver with red letters. Hubcaps used on Moebius box art look a little deceiving, no chrome, no black ring around the circumference.
  15. Excellent build and diorama, looks like a Universal Studio's back lot scene from the 60's. The tu tone paint job is perfect!
  16. Very nice conversion to single rear axle, single stack and single headlights. Door mounted mirrors and Freightliner 22's look great. Detail work is superb! Nice intake manifold, what kit was that from?
  17. Excellent build, the detailing is fantastic, especially like the grill, radiator and bumper work, looks super realistic!
  18. No problem, I often post in reference photos, but sometimes wonder how many people really care or is it really worth it. Note the 390 emblem and side lamp on lower front fender of the '69. Also, if doing a '66 F 350, front fenders should be enlarged to the higher character line and wheels should be 6 lug instead of 8.
  19. Nice builds and variates, here is a 1:1 shot of high and low side tow bodies and early and later F series together.
  20. There is also this great offering which is correct for '67-'72 F 500-F600-F700 F 750. Could be built as a chassis cab to make an excellent, box, dump, fire pumper, tractor or tow as well.
  21. Right, I did a V6 gas version a while ago which would make my build a B6500
  22. Nice to see another Frontier Resin GMC built, I believe this is the 4th one I've seen on this forum. Good choice teamed with the large wrecker body. Impressive detail work, looks great. Does it have a V6 gas or Detroit?
