  1. Looks great and Red perfect!
  2. LOL...sounds like fun your former model group...i used to moderate a Muscle car forum and many of us had met in person,i can tell you looking after a kindergarten would have been less work
  3. I will not lie i often went on facebook drunk...no excuse! but wish my laptop had a breatherliser before allowing me online...guilty as charged! i am 52 and i have moderated forums in the past, i would never consider sharing my problems on a forum! social media not good due to constant triggers of emotions one second a family birth, next post a death, and political news often propoganda meant to make people feel anxious all within a few minutes,we can not cope with mixed emotions constantly ..so triggers people to be upset and post stupid things ...what are these tech billionaires doing to our kids mental health? how does it wire a young brain? good point Sir.
  4. A good honest post! the good thing is we choose what we watch! facebook if i know there political opinion then i am soon not a fan even if a talented builder (yes i know wrong) i can not help myself...i agree that the most talented youtube builders often have the lowest number of subscribers...if i want to be entertained i will read a book or watch a movie...all i want to see on youtube is a completed builds....it is not radio
  5. I have a lifetime facebook ban...they think i am pretending to be me!...account integrity violation...i am not jumping through hoops to get my account back....i do not like it anyway ....the problem i have with model groups is everything at once...overload! hard to see new completed builds....its what is 40% off at hobbyloby (i am UK) or its tailpipe tuesday! etc....it is nice to join a forum and we can stay on topic and i have no clue of members political views.
  6. Welcome cool post! i am 52... i never built young...i built some kits mid 90s in a few month time period but nothing else..2019 i started.
  7. I was going through some old photos circa 2019 and found my home made spray booth version 1...the fan soon packed in (no filter) now i have automotive spray booth filter between the work area and fans.... i was nightclubing in the 1990s and video walls were a big thing...a wall of video screens...i want a hoby spray booth with at least a dozen fans to show off spinal tap style...i will build it...yes i am a single guy with no responsibilitys
  8. A cool car! you inspired me to post my 1990s build restorations.Monocramatic the 68 Hurst Olds wonderful! the same but 69? i look forward to your build.
  9. Although i consider myself fairly new to the hobby i did build some AMT kits in the 1990s...thankfully i kept them! i am in the UK and never saw a copy of scale auto so all brush painted badly...each car ( 5 in total) can have a post of there own obout the restoration...but a taster ..these photos 4 years old and they did not age well! since stripped and 2 repainted...but ahead of myself another post/topic.
  10. Thank you...i do not know how small the textures can go? just thought worth some investigation anyone interested.
  11. Lol i like your reply... any old Iron...in todays world if we truly care about the enviromental ZERO new tools! make do and learn to model... of course i know your work David.
  12. Amazing!
  13. A nice clean build!
  14. 71 my favourite year for Charger...nice build.
  15. looks great! anyone into muscle cars you can get late 60s/early 70s big block Montego...a better car than the Ford at a fraction of the price.
  16. The Mustang Cobra 2 probably my favourite car....i like the stock one,(Starman movie) but i like your own take on it....i had a 78 Ghia and used daily for 3 years. It was the 90s and the transmission failed...to fix was more than the car was worth so scrapped it was a different world then...i want a Cobra 2 and stick in a crate smallblock...300 bhp more than enough....people in the UK would not know the difference between BOSS 429 and Cobra 2....anything Mustang cool here.
  17. This is a cool kit! i now want one thanks to your fantastic bild.
  18. Great work! i am glad i got this kit when the prices were retail...an inspiration to build now.
  19. A great build! i have heard how insane the performance of the hybrid Fearri...and stealth electric only.
  20. Machine turned metal/fiberglass texture..seatbelts/licence plates.stick on and paint.
  21. This is intersting...the new UV cured inkjet printers...they can print texture! so could be the woodgrain answer you have been looking for...print on thin plastic of thin glossy paper/masking tape...Mopar gator grain could be printed, any interiour textures you want and in colour...a good recent youtube video on UV 3D printer on Adam Savage tested...a lot $$ for just hobby builds...but suite cottage industry people who sell 3d printed parts.sell as aftermarket ..you can thank me later.
