  1. Looks like this wonderful old thread has been decimated by the Photobucket DP500 Logo of Death. I'll be going back and re-linking images as I can find time. In the meanwhile here is my latest Deuce, a full-bellypan lakes car done in a kind of 50's Indianapolis Kurtis K500 style:
  2. It don't always name them but I have quite often because I do so much work with custom decals. In those cases the name often appears on the cars. In other cases they've been named after cars that inspired them or just descriptive of a series I've built. Some examples: The Silver Slipper: The Terrible Topolino The Therapy Roadster (a quick build to get me started again) A couple of Deuce LoBoys: Too Low And TooLo-2 The Golden Chariot Tribute
  3. I agree with Dennis, your initial stance is not to be tampered with. Here's hoping it survives the build process - I know in some cases these things have a tendency to drift. I'm especially interested in how the rear end sits since it looks like you haven't done anything to the back of the chassis. Is that just a mockup or is that how the kit Deuce rails and rear suspension actually sit? I'm asking because I have one of these waiting to be built and I want to achieve the "low highboy" stance you nailed in those first pictures. I know when I recently did the channeled version I had to be absolutely merciless not only in getting the nose down, but the rear end as well. The standard OOB Revell stance is always soooooooo high!
  4. Broken Photobucket links repaired. For now I'm only updating completed model pics. Updating w.i.p. links is just too huge a task! I'll update them on request...

  6. Thanx Dan! I can see pictures at the top of page 1. There were never any pictures posted beyond that.

  19. Nice one! Factory stock well done always commands respect, IMHO. Given your abilities in recreating 60's U.S. factory racer sedans it would be cool to see your take on this one in its Monte Carlo rally form:
