  1. If they chose Custer the car would have to be a Yugo.
  2. All these ebay rants, sheesh. I like ebay no matter what. I live in a very modern and progressive city with no LHS. All the garage sales/flea markets/rummage stores have little but used baby clothes, broken electronics, worn out books, and ###### furniture. I get stuff on ebay I cant get anywhere else, I just need to pay attention. I recently got a Revell Roadster Speed Equipment parts pack for a buck 99. Thats $1.99. Ive seen them for upwards of $70. Enuf said.
  3. Peter, I just found a set of the 36 Ford Custom hubcaps, and they fit the Original Green Hornet tires, so they must be the same. I dont know about the wheels. Replicas has some "artillery wheels" that look close.
  4. Are they the same as the front tires on the original Black Widow and Green Hornet? If so I think someone, maybe Replicas and Miniatures, has them in resin.
  5. This guy has it, but I dont see it currently listed. He's in Australia too so shipping is most likely not a prob. http://stores.ebay.com.au/RESIN-DOWN-UNDER/Other-/_i.html?rt=nc&_fsub=1&_sid=533357575&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1581&_pgn=1
  6. Simply amazing, talk about great craftsmanship, and it is soooo clean!
  7. Thats one nice looking Cobra! Im surprised how good Rub-n-Buff turned out.
  8. I like that trick for mounting the car club plaque!
  9. Scale Modeling By Chris has a set of 3 for $14.95 and includes some decals. I have them, and it appears the 2 large ones could be from the 31 sedan, while the small one looks like it came from Monogram's garbage truck. heres the link, he's a good guy to do business with. http://www.scalemodelingbychris.com/automotive_resin_accessories7.htm
  10. All my goodwill-hope station-ST vincent de paul's have are smelly old clothes, ###### furniture, junky dishware, broken electronics, and unwanted books. Oh, and a huge freakin lot of used baby clothes. I really need to move........I am sooo jealous of you guys!
  11. A former g/f had a Caddy "bro-ham" and believe me, you nailed that interior! The backseat looks.... OOPS cant say that here!
  12. I totally dig that dually!
  13. Round 2 sure made those 80 buck Manx gluebombs on ebay worth a whole lot less! Thats a good thing!
  14. Its you. You have a problem . I do too.............
  15. Some very nice examples there! This is what I did to Revell's 34 Ford snapper. Just careful painting, a bit of BMF on the front axle and Future on the rear end. I just wish I had gotten rid of that screw in the oilpan..........
  16. Great to see you back, Dave.
  17. Im with ya Gregg. I did a switch in the late 70's. Pulled two motors and swapped them in just over an hour. Did you compete in the bug-ins? By late 69-70 we had it down to an art. It was pretty much nothing to pull into my parents garage on a friday night and come out with a fresh motor before midnight. We ran at the Fremont Drag Strip. I never won, but it was a hoot to get 3 lengths on a Camaro@!
  18. Bought, maybe 20, traded twice that much. Built...Uh what does "built" mean...............
  19. Holy Guacamole, thats a gorgeous model. Your work behind the scenes sure paid off!
  20. Beautiful work, I love everything about it, especially the color!
  21. Those tires are a work of art!
  22. You totally nailed the "nostalgia" part of the FED's. I am more traditional, and don't particularly like the look of the nostalgia dragsters, but I must say you've done a fantastic job!
  23. Uh. wow. Some great builds there! But how exactly did you become obsessed?
  24. I haven't seen Jeff online in quite awhile. I know he had a similar health issue as I do. I hope he is doing OK.
