  1. Wow, Ira, that was worth the wait. I love it, I just cant stop smiling. Great job!!
  2. My TRaK mate Dirk has vinyl redline decals for those AMT supremes, ck it out! http://trakinscale.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=saltra&action=display&thread=13589
  3. Been waitin' for this forever. I just could not wrap my mind around 20 bucks plus on ebay for gluebombs. I;ve got that shortened bug body and the Teevee body to put on these, as well as building the oringinal. Whoot whoot, Im stoked! Just placed my pre-order with Model Express!
  4. I think anything drag goes into the drag section. Whatcha gonna build?
  5. Well, I am in the minority and would love to see this again like Greg. The fiddly opening everything is easy to fix by glueing it all shut. Out of the box it builds, except for the fiddly things, in my opinion, an absolutely gorgeous, period perfect gasser. I have two of the chrome trees that I am hoarding to with an inch of my life. I can deal with bodywork no problem. Although I built this when first issued, and my skills were lacking, Ive seen a few of these built on ebay, and even with the inherent troubles of the kit, are gorgeous in my eyes. I mean, give this kit a break, I managed to finish Revells 56 Ford pickup at the ripe age of 14.
  6. Cant forget the early Fords!
  7. That last shot bought a huge smile to my face!
  8. Ditto to what they said! Love that paint!
  9. Outstanding Doc!
  10. I dig it, that side profile, wheels and tires, and ride height is just right!
  11. I like that super bee too
  12. Art, you did an outstanding job on it! I think that the true test of a skilled builder is making a very simple kit look as good as you did on this! I might have to get me one and try it out myself.
  13. Nice work! Im sorta surprised how good that Pete looks in pink.
  14. Wow thats really nice! I love that blue. You sure know how to paint Mike!
  15. Beautiful job on a really tough kit!
  16. Great job, that engine is fantastic! The rust on the headers looks so real!
  17. Thanks, Doc, thats quite a compliment coming from you. I really need to clean up my hobby room so I can set up a booth and start painting again.
  18. And a few more. The AMX was done in Testors light purple with sapphire blue fogging in around 1974 or so. The yellow and black 29 was done in my cold garage at night, at 35 psi, for the final coat I think I thinnned it something like 80% thinner 20% paint.
  19. Here are some of my oldies, all done in enamel. Theyve been bouncing around in boxes for years, and I notice in the pics I have a problem with sanding scratches. No lear or polishing on any of them, just right out of the airbrush. The green Tee did have some buffing with a flannel rag, but thats all. Sorry about the poor pics, that is a skill I still have to master!
  20. Great stuff there Chuck! I think my favorite is the 53 Ford, but I dig them all.
  21. Man what an idea!
  22. Youve sure got a sense of humor Harry. I drive a Durango, and even I find that pretty funny!
  23. The Mind Binder Willys my favorite gasser of all time, candy magenta, street driven too! The yellow one is OK too.
  24. 1962 Buick Skylark An accurate ( read not like aoshima ) 71 Super Beetle 1969 Caprice 4 door coupe 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan coupe 4 door 1938 Ford standard, 4 door would be nice
