  1. Greg Holland might be able to help. I have one set of his decals and man, they are beautiful! http://vsrnonline.com/gregsdecalgraphics/index.htm
  2. Probably as many of them as 32 Fords. That being said, my name is Glenn, and I have a problem. I am addicted to 32 Fords. I think I shall start D.A. "Deuces Anonymous" "Step one I am powerless over 32 Fords" "Step Two AMT's 32 Fords causes my life to becpme unmanageable" "Step Three I have made a decision to turn my life and my will over to Round Two"
  3. On some of Tamiya and Aoshimas kits the chassis plate snaps into place, no glue needed, not to mention the wheels being centered, and the car having a realistic ride height. Now why cant the Americans do that?
  4. Thats pretty wild and, uh, strange. Somewhere in my stash of old magazines there is a Popular hot rodding, I think, with an 80's gm front wheel drive something that has a blower on the transverse engine sticking out of the hood. Sure is wierd seeing them sideways.
  5. Off topic Tom, but who did you race for? I ran for Ron Mura during the days of Cukras. I stayed local whereas he was nationwide, as you know.
  6. Doesnt it seem like the farther towards the left coast the higher the price is............I live here so I am entitled to say gosh darn califreakinfornia! words edited for public consumption!
  7. Holy cow, last time I saw it at my LHS it was 11.95. I usually use Plastikote, which I can get online for around 8 bucks shipped, but its not as smooth as Tamiya. I'm gonna go ck out my LHS and see how much theyre gouging me!
  8. What a fantastic job on weathering that body!
  9. Geez thats expensive. Stevens International has the list price advertised as $199.99.
  10. Nice paint! Goes to show that even a simple kit can be made to look fantastic. Great job!
  11. All of the Revell parts packs, except the engines. Hmmm, maybe the engine parts packs are why there have not been any others resissued. There are a boatload of those engines still out there.
  12. Ya know, I was a serious diehard fan of DW for years. When he won Daytona with that 17-17-17 thing, it was my complete, abslolute, favorite NASCAR moment, ever. As he faded, esp. with the Tiim Flock car, I became disillusioned. After seeing this, if I never hear from DW again I will be happy. My silly, princess-like daughter would have fared better..she has more balls!
  13. Well, the Batmobile is quite "trixy" and can climb the side of buildings, but the Mach 5 can jump and fly. While Batman and Robin are climbing up the side of a gorge, Speedy and Mach 5 have jumped over it and are on their way!
  14. Man, when you put it in the dio it looks absolutely frightfull!
  15. So you're the guy who did this. Fantastic! I absolutely love this model, so much that I got a bunch of parts to replicate it! Unfortunately my job is no where as good as yours!
  16. If you go to wiki it indicates that the producer of the film drove the route in a Mercedes and dubbed in the sounds. Makes a good case for all that Dave Zinn and I have pointed out! Those who have actually raced versus those who wish they did, can really tell the difference. This is a fun video, but if youve driven a racecar.its just entertainment. For those whom have driven a racecar, and its is not the same, Dave would you agree?
  17. Great idea! That sure is something, how much better the challenger front looks on the magnum body.
  18. Beautiful job on all of them! However, I thought Ron Shuman was the only one driving the Ofixco Spl. I have always loved that car, to me the best sprint car paintjob ever.
  19. I found myself wondering the same thing. It was fun, but it seemed more anxiety producing than exciting.
  20. Looking great! That engine is a work of art.
  21. I have always dug the 33/4 Ford from Thunder Road. No music video, but this album cover does it for me!
  22. There was one on ebay but it got snapped up real quick. Looks pretty hot, too!
  23. It looks a lot better under clear. This isnt the best photo, but in person the flake is not that bad cleared and polished.
