  1. I ran the repair shop and shipping department for my former employer for 20 plus years, and I've seen just about everything. It is a no-brainer as far as I am concerned to spend an exrta 2 minutes packing your shipment well. Decades of exposure to UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and Greyhound taught me that a small bit of extra effort will ensure that the item in your package arrives in one piece. Sheesh, what is wrong with these shippers?
  2. Thats the best use of a new Camaro Ive seen yet! I agree that big steelies would look pretty cool on it. The Blackforce is not all that easy to get ahold of, but one of Revells 57 Chevies has a set that looks real close, tho I cant remember which one.
  3. I'm with Roger. Greg, that 33 Tudor is really great!
  4. Thats some mighty clean workmanship!
  5. Those rotarys sound out of this world, however, my favorite is the awesome sound of the BRM V-16. It gets real good at 3:40 and 6:00
  6. I wasnt a fan of the tins, thinking who cares, it just added to the cost. When I got my double dragster in the tin I saw how nice it was, not to mention the extra parts. Now I like them. I am looking forward to the 57 Chevy tin release.
  7. Close call! 1977 MPC Pinto Station Wagon. Picture courtesy of the DPMCC Fotki.
  8. I dig that digger! Hmmm, that sounds sorta funny...anyway, I really love it. SO perfectly vintage. I am however, worried about your workspace. It looks similar to mine, and I have a problem.......

  10. I dig that 29 Pickup, Ken!
  11. Thanks for the compliment leadfoot. The truck is Lindberg's "Utility Rod". Its not totally my work, I got it off ebay as a built-up, disassembled it and cleaned it up, repainted the roof insert, tonneau cover, and touched up the tires which are 2 piece plastic. I made an new windshield for it, got the wheels pointing in the same direction, and reassembeled it. Mine is molded in a beautiful shade of white plastic, but it also came in green and perhaps other colors. Here are pics of an original version in green, and the blue one is currently available as a "32 Ford Pickup" from a lot of online sources. .
  12. I noticed the moon discs have the same outward flare at the lip where they mount to the wheels, just like the set in my garage. That swayed my opinion!
  13. Pre-ordered two sets, and emailed. Whoo-hoo!
  14. I dig it, much more than the orginal. Buy, yeah, why two iofferent exhausts>

  19. Nice job! I love the trophy series too, I have a bunch of 32's in my stash.
  20. Isnt it interesting that 90 year old cars are easier to identify, than 2 year old cars?
