  1. Way to take a lemon and make lemonade. Nice work Brett.
  2. Amazing, beautiful, sick... I run out of adjectives to describe your work.
  3. Outstanding work Tyrone. Your really working those polishing pads. I'm looking forward to seeing the decals in place to finish off this great build.
  4. Congratulations on an awesome build. It's been fun watching this come together.
  5. Bart, excellent progress. The 4 link brackets look awesome. Take care of your back. Don't rush getting back to the bench to spend hours if doing so aggravates your condition. I'm a lawyer and I've handled hundreds of back cases, talked to many doctors and reviewed thousands of medical records. I've had a herniated disc for about 6 years and I, like others, made it worse by rushing to return to activities that I engaged in before my injury. I'm sure your doctor has told you all this but sometimes it helps to hear it from another sympathetic mouth. Get some physical therapy and aggressively pursue it. We'll be here waiting for you when you get back to bench.
  6. Congratulations on a killer build. You knocked it out of the park.
  7. Nice work Lane. You're off to a good start. Keep up the good work and enjoy the process of getting better.
  8. Nice crisp and clean cut on the door. The helmet looks awesome.
  9. Welcome to forum. The twin turbo Pony looks great.
  10. Nice work so far. I'm looking forward to seeing more. I like the use of tape labels for the colors. I'll have to borrow that one from ya. I use styrofoam and toothpicks or wooden skewers in the same way that you do. Keep up the good work.
  11. Awesome firewall. I love the use of the tube for the uniform corners.
  12. I agree with the other suggestion to tone down the shine. Awesome work on shape and texture.
  13. Great start. I'm looking forward to your updates.
  14. Outstanding. You're killin it.
  15. The firewall is outstanding.
  16. The paint jot is hot and it's not finished. Are you using HOK lacquer or urethane?
  17. Beautiful paint work!
  18. Beautiful work.
  19. Freaking incredible. I tried to be funny by pointing a detail that could not possibly be in the model, and you have it... amazing. You never cease to amaze me.
  20. I'm curious about the glaze that you found at Michael's. I tried an acrylic clear over lacquer that had dried for several weeks. I got a great result after rubbing it out. About a year has passed, and I recently noticed that the clear is cracking. I'm in the market for a non-urethane clear that I can spray over anything that will not take a month to dry.
