  1. She's looking good Geezerman.
  2. This is such a cool idea. I love the design. The build off is a little beyond my skill level, but I'm very interested to see what you guys create. I'll be watching fellas.
  3. Great tutorial! Well demonstrated, easy to understand, effective...
  4. David, you comments really hit home for me. I can do a lot of stuff now that I would not have attempted when I began this build. I do feel like the work, some of it very frustrating, is paying off. I've learned a lot. I truly appreciate your kind words.
  5. Thank Kennedy and Cotto. I really appreciate the comments.
  6. Thanks Bill. I tried it and it worked
  7. Thanks Karmodeler. Zoom Zoom gave me the same advice.
  8. Beautiful true fire on your 1:1. I'm looking forward to seeing work on the model.
  9. The plastic definitely owns me. Thanks for the compliment.
  10. When adding a post to your own thread, how do you modify the topic title. For example if I wanted to add something like "Now with Paint 6/20" to an existing topic title, how do I accomplish this. Thanks in advance for your replies.
  11. I made a little progress on the goat. I scratchbuilt some seats. They will look ok with clean up work. But, I think they look a little big. What do you guys think?
  12. I use the quart size can of Duplicolor primer and shoot it through my airbrush because it's economical. When properly thinned it lays down smoothly. Many of the big chain auto parts stores carry it.
  13. Nice bodywork and intercooler. It's shaping up nicely.
  14. Very nice build!
  15. Simply gorgeous! Did you ever finish the '41 Willys? I used your Willys separation line technique on my '64 GTO http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31320&st=0&p=310294&fromsearch=1&#entry310294
  16. Sweet build. The engine and roof look fantastic.
  17. Nice paint work!
  18. Zoom Zoom Would the ammonia or windex method remove acrylic clear without harming a lacquer base? How about clear over an enamel base?
  19. Very cool idea... using the shorter side wall to reduce the radius of the wheel/tire combo. The wheels look great!
  20. The motor and body work look great. I'm sorry to hear about the paint. I'm sure that you'll recover nicely.
  21. I like both of the paint choices. The stance looks great and the power plant is gonna be killer.
  22. Try looking here http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/ff310/comp1839/1-12%2057%20chevy%20pro%20mod/ He uses frame jigs on just about all of his builds.
  23. I'm very interested in any wheel making tutorial you might offer.
  24. The paint looks fantastic!
