  1. That interior is very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this build.
  2. That's a beautiful piece of work. Welcome to the forum. I hope to see more of hour stuff in the near future.
  3. That weathering job looks very realistic. I have not attempted weathering yet, but builds like this make me want to try it.
  4. I dig the wheels and the A arm assembly looks great. After looking at yours, I think I'll try to fabricate A arms on my next build. Keep sharing the work bro. This is inspiring stuff.
  5. Wow! Very nice work on the A arms and struts. Did you turn the struts? I will watch this one closely. Keep the pictures coming.
  6. Krylon Crystal Clear is a urethane?
  7. Very nice detail work. The cool can and radiator really caught my attention. Keep up the great work.
  8. Very nice work!
  9. Dimebag... pretty clever. Maybe you should turn it into a street pharmaceutical delivery vehicle. LOL.
  10. WOW! Fantastic work.
  11. The paint on the Merc looks fantastic. What base color did you use?
  12. Great job on the interior. I like the use of color and the integration of the interior and exterior colors.
  13. Thanks for the tips. Before I shot the pictures I tried to spray more paint on the trunk and the dark areas just became darker. I will sand the trunk and respray it with your suggestions and clear it. I found that Kustom Kolors does not react well with lacquer clear. Apparently, it's some sort of hybrid enamel/lacquer. I shot spoon tests with Crystal Clear, an acrylic, and they turned out pretty well. So, I'll use the Crystal Clear and wet sand the tape lines as you guys suggested.
  14. The stance looks great. Can't wait to see more progress.
  15. Thanks diymirage. The tiger stripes are subtle and, unfortunately, difficult to photograph.
  16. This was my first attempt to spray a body with my airbrush and I'm fairly pleased with the result. But, I have a couple of issues. First, the tape line is more pronounced than I would like. I would like to sand it, but I'm afraid of creating a milky finish in the metallic paint. Second, I have some tiger stripping in the silver on the trunk. I'm tempted to sand the trunk and respray it, unless someone has a better idea. The metallic silver on the top and the red separation line is dupli color lacquer. The metallic gray on the bottom is a custom mix of Kustom Kolor by House of Kolor , which was thinned with Kustom Kolor Reducer.
  17. Why don't you wash that thing? LOL. Nice weathering.
  18. Great job on the Challenger.
  19. Wow. Very impressive scratch building.
  20. I'm drooling all over my computer. This is FABulous work. The frame, cover, wheels... are incredible. I can't wait to see more. I wish that someone made a 1:25 or 1:24 scale drag bike so us mere mortals can get in on the action. Keep it up. I will watch this build with great anticipation.
  21. Fantastic detailing!!! Keep it up.
  22. Nice work on the detailing.
  23. I can smell the diesel fumes. It's a very convincing build. Great work.
  24. This is stunning work! Thanks for sharing your technique with us.
  25. Brett, you're doing some very nice work and showing some good skill. I got out of the hobby when I was a couple of years older than you because I could not make my paint look like the box art. I knew nothing about spray techniques or color sanding back then. I applaud your creativity and your skill. Stay with it and keep sharing your progress.
