    I think it would have been a better bet for them to make a 458 spider, SLS convertible or Ferrari FF, especially given some of the tooling has already been done for the 458 and SLS.

    Peter, if you're using the plexiglass front end for the Daytona, the turn indicators should only be painted half amber, not full amber like in your previous photo. Google "Daytona plexiglass front" to see what I mean.

    Beautiful job! I have this transkit too. Wish it came with the hood struts so I didn't have to make them myself. Where did you get this parts to make them?

    yeah, i've started using 2k, and its troublesome. so far, i've found that my first coat of clear is always pretty rough. i sand it down, then add another layer of clear, which is a lot smoother. the only real problem i have right now is that the 2k is so hard, its difficult to sucessfully polish out. keep us posted.

    Now only if a US store will carry it. Seems like its just coming to market in the overseas stores.

    The website says it has 202 parts. Did the old Protar kit have 202 parts? Seems like a lot of parts.
