Well i am back for the week end. Been gone from here for the past week as i have just started 9th grade so i didnt have the time to visit and see what been going on. So anything i missed .

just a question but what are the charges for evilbay? Like for paypal ect. My parents singed up but now want to sell. I realy dont want to sell there just buy stuff(got a great deal on 2 58 impala rebuilders)

Dont rebuild them at all. Personaly if i had the money(which i dont) i would by the rivera of off you. I wouldnt touch them. Just dust them off and display them

probably the best tool for that are nice set of sharpies and a good set of brushes and bottle paints. Steady hand would help too.

hey this should be the second game we play here. Every time you paint a car we guess the color

change of plans maybe. May go with something quiet different insted of glitter flake. How bout a kandy purple base coat. Just pm'ed a few friend to see if they have anytips ideas on how to spray it or if i need certain things. If it wont be to much will be purple. If it is well its going to be flaky but that just depends right now on what they say. Pics and color chioce will come tomorrow.

man that is sweet. Now i have to get a 50 panel, 55 sedan selivery and probably other stuff too . Have to agree with harry i personaly am a 6 cylinder lver so it is nice to see a six in there. I need to finish my 6 from a 50 chevy truck took the blower from amt 57 chevy and added it to the stock intake. Back to your car it is nice and always love seeing your builds

Lowriders are fine. I personaly love them and we have 2 of the greatest lowrider builders in here. How did you build your suspension. I meself made a hydrolic suspension for my truck but it aint realistic but it works. Want to see more of this lowrida. So is this the final color or are you going more wilder? looks good as is though

yeah yeah.Give me a break Wanted pics to have pics yesterday but i got sick with headache and my food kindof came up again so i was done for that day. So today after a good nights sleep i got up and painted my seats and interior panels. Taped it off and painted the tuck and roll testors purple metal flake. Couldnt find my kandy grape. Gona try and get h.o.k. trans purple for a top coat over my flake. Today no pic but i promise i will show pictures tomorrow. Will work on my 50 truck tomorrow alittle with tuck and roll panels in the door panels and maybe some seat things. then i will primer the motor and paint the dash of the merc tomorrow.

Okay heres the thing. My dad knows a seller of house of kolor paints. He can get me anything i need kandy colors, flake, transperent colors anything. My question is do i need to put any kind of certain sealers primer down or could i just use thier primer then paint, and clear coat. Any tips trick info would help.

First and this is basic is a good eye. This means you looks at the body to see the problems. Thanks that should be removed are moldlines and injector pin marks and lowspots, warps ect. On thing on ejector marks and low spots always use 2 part putty. More steps listed below. 2. Primer. Always have a primer ready. I never buy the plati coat stuff. I go to wal mart and buy their gray primer which is 97 cents. Or also what helps is flat black. You see alot of thing in it. Also another good primer is fill and sand primer. This will be helpfull for small scratches that are 2 small to be puttyed. 3. Putty and bondo. Always use 2 part putty as that stuff doesnt shrink. I use evercoat eurosoft putty. Great stuff and one tube lasts for ever and is avalible in autobody suply shops. The bondo you can get a wal mart and it is a small can and costs 10 bucks. Will be usefull for bigger jobs as if you do customizing. 4. Sandpaper. I love to use 3m product. Probably all the sand paper i have is 320 180 and 600 800 and 1000 grit. 320 and 180 will be used to to sand putty. 180 for first sand, 320 to finish up(and remove mold lines and should be bought at auto supply stores as it lasts longer. The 600 800 and 1000 is for sanding primer clearcoats. Can be bought at wal mart and it is 3m products. Works great.
