wait in your first post you said "bill stillwagons 57 caddie with a chezoom roof crafted on". Since when does revell make a 1/24 or 1/25 scale 57 caddie?? Or is it the 1/32?

thanks alot. Now just need to talk to my parents when we go up to los angeles area again. Hope we can do it on the september 20 weekend as my birthday is the 19 september and i always get to pick out my presents as i only ask for model cars or parts and maybe some other stuff. But since i have alot of models they just let me pick them out as they dont want to buy on model and then find out i have about 3 of them already. Thanks. Will probably try and go to all of them Thanks again -
thought so. Is the double dragster kits from revell and amt the same too?
-
got my second primer coat on the body. Removed the mold lines and injector marks. Gona stay in primer till i atleast he the interior pan completly assembled. Not going to go with the stock taillights. Gona go with the caddie lights. Paint stays the same. Dash is goin to get the chrome color from testors as i still have a can of that. Then all the accents will be painted in the grape color. No flake on the dash. But the ouside will be flaky. Just thought i would do somethin different then red, blue, black, and white on the colors. Never saw one merc in purple or grape.

yeah the glass didnt fit on mine. mine had on the trim part on the glass it was lower end edgey and when put it in it had gaps between body and glass. The old issue had no problem with that. The glass was cleanly molded. Just thought i would give ya a heads up. -

which cameo issue. The first on or the later issues. Reason i ask is the later issues the glass fits like, lets just say someone steped on it. Got the first issues in a trade and i have to say molding is better, tires are different. and glass is good. Gona get the resin 55 gmc conversion and a 58 chevy fleetside bed for mine. Then my hydro setup. Gona be sweet -

hows your build comin along? any updates. -
hey thanks fer the tip. The reason i assmbled it this time was i tryed to build this kit before but just the first issue of it. Well i was starting in the hobby so not a clean build. So i painted it and everytime i tryed to mount it to somethin it fell over. So what i did was paint one side, let it dry and turned it over. Worked great till i had to remove the peices from the place they were laying one ruined the paint. So i packed the kit up and it sits. Now its partialy a parts car but will be rat rodded later on. So i put it together this time but it also screwed up the paint when the tape came off. Luckly my super glue isnt worth a darn so it came apart without breaking anything so i wet sanded. Gona get another coat of paint and all is good. Thanks fer the tip thoug. Got some new projects as i want to see.

1/16 wow, so its proably all scratch build right?? Wow just amazing

i knew someone was going to anttempt that car before me. Sweet isnt it To give you some info i think its either a 30 or a 32. It is channeled over the frame. Is chopped. Probably z'ed frame in the rear and looks like it has air ride because you cant drive that thing that low. there is another site car site called "the hamb" but their cars arre not rat rods, they are traditional hot rods but they are close, but much cleaner. If you want to go to that site let me know and i will post the link.

Sounds like from that comment that i you might be better of making a custom. Well anyway nice work and i think i will go and get one myself. If everything goes wrong at least then i have someone to refer too Nice build up
-
Oh that is sweet. Hey love the color on this little guy. So is it still called little bigwheel? or did the name change? Would have never thought of that idea of building 1/32 scale and then going crazy with it but i have to tell you one thing. I it Nice work.

Well i am here in san diego and have like no good hobby shops around me. The one that is alittle worth is bout 30 miles away but doesnt carry most stuff. Whats a good hobby shop that carrys like lets say bmf, testors one coat laquers, the new amt parts pack kit, or any amt kits at all? My local hobby people store has only revell kits and the regular testors spray cans and bottle paints. No laquers, bmf, amt kits ect. Any help would be great.
