Were could i get this micro scale foil or testors foil. Anyone have a link to were i could get it. Reason i ask is i got no good hobby shop. Just basic shop with paint and kits Any help would be great.

Oh u want to know how to saty away from the hobby shop. There are 2 ways. One let the air out of your cars tires or 2 look at the stack of models u still have to build . Thats how i stay away from the hobby shop. Just look through my collection and think why buy another. But if new nice kits comeout or i get old kits offered then i will buy those.

Wh didnt i think of this kit. I have about 5 of them with 2 origionals 1 80s and 2 three windows. The point of this build is to have fun, help others ect. Car looks great. Atleast i have someone who loves old schoo Kustoms too. Mine is a 59 impala with extended fins stretched tailights. Custom grill shave ect. No to mild but not to wild.

You three are in tabsscale1 you are in too. The endate is not set yet. People in build offs right now when does yours end? I want to make a deadline which will be fair which will give people time to work on thier cars. Probably the deadline will be sometime in december early january. nice crapn. Silver firewall would be good. Purple an white interior great. As for your spark problem, have you thought bout usin a torch??? I think it would be easier. Great build. Cant wait till its done.

havent decided on an end date yet. I think to mkae it fair for everyone i will let this run for a few months so people have time to work on this car and other projects but i dont have a certain date right now. As for proving that you have a non started car just send me a pm or i will start a thread on the workbench section and you can post pics of it there. That how i would do it. Dang dudes. I just picked out my project. I am in the pre 70 class. Well its a 59 impala custom buildin a period custom around 60 to 62. Gona extend the fins, add some different streched taillights out of the origionals. Shaveed emblems handels. Trim will stay on different grill. Evil make a custom build progress thread on the workbench section.

Great sounds good. I have decided on 2 classes. one for pre 70 vehicles and the second on after 70 vehicles. You would be in the after 70 class

nice. Cant wait to see more. So how are the beads sopposed to replicate fuel lines.

First real build of so please excuse me for the mistakes. Okay evilone. I like the idea you have given me about any year of car but has to be customized. I just would like to make on change to it. I would like it to be domestic cars only and all years are allowed may think about 2 catigories old school and newer age. No imports. Awbecrazy, you are not a paina at all i am glad you ask questions before you start. The reason i said rat rod is because it is kind of a kustom. Hot rods in some peoples eyes are customs too. Lowriders are always modefied so consider i them custom too. Let me make some chages to the first post so it is clear what to build. Thanks for your help and cooperation

Oh sorry thats what i wanted to clear up. Lowriders are included but they have to be from a certain period. Hot rods, rat rods to since they are period rods are included. Things that are not icluded here are dragsters, no drifters tuners nascars dirt racers, imports. Hope this clears some things up.

Awbecrazy the other forum i speak of is scaleauto. May have overlooked one but didnt see a custom build off. Right now i am just seeing who would be down with this. If i get between 5 to 10 people to join in i will go ahead and set a end date and contact Gregg and see if he would be nice enough and print the winner and his or her car in the mag but key word here is IF. So far 3 people. Cool. The more the better. Oh one more thing bout the build off Trucks are allowed. Any questions comments concers fell free to post on this thread.

well the first hobby place i went to was while i was in texas. I went to hobby lobby. Bought the 57 chevy truck street machine. Then moved to los angeles. There my first real hobby shop i went to was called gismoe's hobby store in burbank. Bought bout 25 dollars of stuff. Then they made me mad and left. The other one i went to then was Hobby People in pasadena. Continued going there. Then move to san diego and kept goin to hobby people and a rail road shop here. Well i alway by more stuff then i realy want but always forget somethin.
