  1. Terrific start Cruz, cant wait to see what you do with this one. That engine looks terrific. What did you use for the bent spark plugs?
  2. Can't believe you get these kinds of results with such a simple combination of those 2 paints. I guess is not how much money you pay for your paints, it's more what you can do with what you have.
  3. Love the way that green actually contrasts with the black, congrats on a great build.
  4. Cruz, thanks for the suggestion, I in the other hand will make sure to take your advice. After seeing that sweet Impala, who better to suggest this idea than you. We have to keep up with the times, it's a digital world out there now, there's no excuse for taking mediocre pictures when we can be doing better with today's technology. Good photos and model building just go hand in hand, no arguing about that.

    69 DREAMIN

Love the stance, great job on this!
  6. Thank you Manny for the Impala feature and of course, thank you also Cruz, that red Impala looks too sharp.
  7. Does anyone have it already? Is it out?
  8. Cool looking panel truck, I love it.
  9. I don't know about you guys but, when I go out to the street and I see a real car, I see DARK, not gray, or a color "similar" to the car or anything else, I see DARK or BLACK. Don't know what else people are looking at I am in total agreement with making the lines deep, in the long run, that's exactly what a real car has, a gap which makes the line look dark.
  10. Cruz, thanks for the photos and congrats on your win, I heard everyone liked it very much.
  11. Cruz, great detail on that 351, looks awesome and so real.
  12. Looks pretty good, keep us posted.
  13. Your model on a cover of a magazine or a trophy for first place on a big show? I think I like the cover!
  14. Looks great, I gotta get my hands on one of these!
  15. Awesome work Cruz, seems like you have been building these things forever.
  16. Just remember guys, envious people are just supportive haters. Good luck to the winners!
  17. I also went with the Tbird, the paint is phenomenal and everything about it is just right. The Ferrari is also incredible but it's a model that I consider should be in another category because of the way is manufactured. The engine in the '32 Deuce was also too much.

    'Tis the season!

The Victoria and Tbird are just too awesome, paint and details are amazing. Always admire your work man, thanks for sharing.
  19. Cruz, this model might not be flawless by your standards but I can assure you it is flawless by 99% of the forum members. Again, you impress the heck out of everyone with another outstanding model. If I were able to build one quarter of the way you do, I might just dare say that my models are flawless.
  20. I never told you because I want to start a cool and peaceful club, I will e-mail you later and have some laughs
  21. This reminds me of a little story I want to tell. I am sort of starting a little club where I live with a few guys that are interested in starting one so I decided to invite my good friend Cruz here in the forum for a little airbrushing, painting and polishing seminar I scheduled in my house. One of the guys who were interested in joining but (to make a story short) decided not to show up anymore, is rambling on with me and saying, "I don't need to go through all that work, my paint jobs are just fine" A month goes by and he decides to bring in his ongoing project and guess what? The dreaded "dipped in syrup" look. One word guys, POLISHING KIT! Okay, two words but you get the idea.
  22. So Cruz, how long did it take your enamel basecoat to dry before adding your clear? I personally am not too crazy about using Testor's enamels because of the long period of time time they take to dry.
  23. Cruz, with the right background you couldn't tell this from the real one. Which red line tires did you use or from which kit? Do you have more pictures?
  24. Mira, acuerdate de pedirle la bendicion a Kustov, no vaya a ser que te metas en lios  Incredible work brother!
  25. Hey Cruz, I have this kit in my stash but I have a question for you, did your body come with a hole to install the spotlights on the sides of the model? Mine did, did you cover yours? Also, did you rescribe your panel lines? I am liking the way they look, how did you do it?
