  1. Which one is better or more accurate? I have both and would like to decide on which one to build but I don't remember seeing them reviewed.
  2. This thing just has the classic look, great job man.
  3. Awesome Cruz, another great WIP from you. Are the wires actually running inside the looms completely or did you just add the extensions at each of the ends? Also, I went to Michael's and they did not have the bead wire in black, did you paint yours or something?
  4. Interesting project, can't wait to see what you come up with.
  5. I could not have said this better Cruz....
  6. After seeing how cool the Dudek rims look on Cruz's recent build of the '62 Tbird, that's what I would chose.
  7. Wow Cruz, you always amaze me with your builds. That engine looks intimidating and it's so well done man, love what you did with the gas lines, really looks like they are filled with fuel, cool food coloring trick on your WIP. I've never liked the front tires on these kits, I think they are too wide, I do like the way the rear ones look. Other than that? Perfect build in every way. Chassis also looks great man, love the look of the rear shocks.
  8. Thanks for the photos man, my Fotki seems to be well after all. One more question, how do you get such great results with your paintjobs? Care to share your secrets?
  9. Cruz man, this is an absolutely gorgeous build you have going on, can't wait to see it finished. Can you share more pictures in reference to how you did the stromberg kit from Replicas? I am having issues with Fotki and can't seem to see the pictures you posted.
  10. Looks very nice, reminds me about the one Cruz did several months ago. Not crazy about the rim choice but still cool.
  11. Cruz man, again you outdid yourself with this one. Wasn't that what I told you about your last build? Don't mind me then my friend. I will tell you this much, I really think that it is a solid description of what a custom car should look like. After seeing your WIP on this one I decided to buy this kit and I don't have a doubt I will be building it before this year is over. Thank you so much for sharing not only the completed pictures of this beauty but also for taking the time to share all the small details of the build. This thing should be gracing the covers of all the car modeling magazines, it's what car modeling is all about dude.
  12. This is gonna look awesome Cruz, those decals look great under the clear. Can't wait to see it with the bare metal foil in place and polished to perfection. You are making a lot of people buy and start putting this one together, I just hope mine comes out half as good as yours will.
  13. Happy to see you starting on another project my friend, love the fact that you are going with the whole white interior, including the carpets and mats. Just got this kit and now I am even happier that I got it seeing you started on this project. Are the tires/white walls from Modelhaus?
  14. This is gonna be a cool project to follow, you and Cruz always build some really nice engines and chassis.
  15. This is a cool project, other than the slightly oversized metal flakes in the paint, I really like it.
  16. Interesting project, looks like a lot of sanding.
  17. Amazing build Cruz! Is that the Johan 'Cuda? What color is that?
  18. Terrific work as usual Cruz, very well detailed kit. Does the front hood open on your kit? I thought it was an option with this kit. Also, it does look better witht the back license plate.
  19. This is very cool Virgil, very creative.
  20. At a loss for words on this one while drooling
  21. Awesome work my friend, very clean. Really looks intimidating. I had a chance at one time to buy this kit when it was offered as a set of four for a very good price and now I really regret not purchasing it at the time.

    Cobra!!!

Excellent build as usual Cruz and I agree with you also, although you did a great job on that paint, the flakes do look a little oversized, I've never been too crazy about those paints either. I love what you did with the interior, all those shades of green really compliment the overall build. Did you lower this model? I built one a year or so ago and thought it turned out a bit too high.
  23. Wow Cruz, have to commend you on your dedication, last time I saw you in person was about 8 months ago? truly a big difference man! I agree with you completely on the exercise part, we have to really committ ourselves in order to see these kind of results. Like Bill says, the hard part? Maintaining the weight, never an easy task. I myself will be doing something about it, you have inspired me my friend!
  24. Great pictures Cruz thanks for always sharing them with us.
  25. Thanks for the pictures Cruz, your Ferrari looks awesome man.
