  1. I thought that satanic worshipping was a thing of the past!
  2. Cruz, please don't get discouraged, you have come a long way and it's also a build I am sure that everyone here wants to see completed. I have one of these kits and this is the future reference information I will use if I ever dare to build it.
  3. Interior is looking awesome already brother, can't wait to see it completed.
  4. Harry, you should put this GTO under the "Real or Model" section. Thing just looks to darn real!
  5. I agree also but that Catalina sure looks good too, there's something about that body style and dark rims that just says "I dare you"
  6. Engine looks awesome already, your washes really put a nice and realistic touch to your builds. These Fujimi kits are known for being very challenging, I'm sure you will do a great job on it. I will be watching closely.
  7. Too much talk, how about posting more shiny paintjobs, be it Lacquer, enamel or Urethane?
  8. Or just take some time out and use a dictionary
  9. I like the color and the stance, rims look pretty nice too. One thing I would suggest though is to paint all the window trim around the body, I just see too much gold all over the place. Panel lines should also be washed, it will give the whole build more character.
  10. Brother, couldn't have said it better!
  11. Love these GTO Muscle cars, specially this year!
  12. Just superb work Cruz, color looks sharp and goes well together with the white interior and decals. I'm sure the lucky owner will love it. I see you didn't forget to foil the rear side window trims, lots of people do. Engine looks quite busy and well detailed and the chassis looks great also.
  13. Completely agree with you Kevin, he will be crying and regreting it. Mi pana, estas cab$^$^!! Give it to me man.
  14. I have a few favorites of my own, I think that what I like about them is not only the talent but how much they take time off to share their incredible techniques. In no particular order: Mr. Cranky - Incredible when it comes to weathering and nice photos of his WIP Mr. Lombardo - I love his creativity Mr. Cruz - Love his paintjobs and cleanliness of work ( I own 2 of his creations) Mr. Raitz - Lots of good stories and experiences Mr. Geary - Love everything he does (even though I wish he would make a great comeback) Mr. Downie - Also great with paint and cleanliness, very knowledgeable Mr. Teresi - Plastic-surgery maniac I have a few others but I have certainly learned a lot from these guys, I have PMed some of them with a lot of questions and they are always there with all the help I have always needed. Also, as previously stated, Gregg should be in this list, I can only imagine all the efforts put in to keep this boat afloat, never an easy task. Also, the moderators should have their minutes of glory!
  15. Sounds and looks like you had a great time! Was my boy Cruz there? Looks like it was not as well attended as last year.
  16. Turned out pretty good, I have always loved the body style of this car, color also suits it well.

    70 celica

Looks terrific, I love these old Celicas. Panel lines can use a little scribing and blackwash but other than that, looks really good.
  18. Color really goes well with the car Cruz, the decal still looks good, not much of a difference when compared to the real car. Question, do you thin the Scalefinishes paint before shooting them? How do you like them?
  19. Well said Cruz, why people keep swaying from the subject and continue saying that it's all about envy and throwing people under the bus is beyond me. I believe that in the real car world, shiny and miles deep paintjobs will always be best, not the same when looked at in smaller scales. Even orange peel in 1/24th or 25th scale is way too big. The panel line issue? Couldn't agree with you more, it's one of the first signs of way too much paint.
  20. This thing already looks badass, your choice of rims is cool. How did you get those panel lines to looks so good? Did you use a technical pen or something? Wouldn't the paint cover them once you decide to paint the model?
  21. You never cease to amaze me with your builds, the first thing I noticed was how sharp the panel lines were done, they don't look "painted" like others usually do by using pens and markers. Also, the rims really pop out even though they are not chrome, the addition of the valve stems and the overall wash you gave them yield a realistic look. Any pictures of the interior?
  22. This is just too cool man, great creativity!
  23. I like the way the keys/keychain look inserted in the ignition, very cool touch. I also think that the combination of interior colors will look just right with the outside color you chose for the body.
  24. Looks very nice, flame work looks great.
  25. Absolutely gorgeous color Cruz, can't wait to see it when you give it the final magic polishing touch. The color of the wheels and the body underside will really go well together. What color will you be doing for the interior?
