  1. That thing looks intimidating man, you do great work.
  2. Darn it Cruz, that is so clean man, just the way those Barrett Jackson cars do look!
  3. Very nice Mag, I will have to look into this, looks like they have a feature on Lyle Willits. This is their second issue but it looks like one can also get the first one?
  4. You say you need to rub this out? I guess you are a perfectionist, I would have left it as is. That color is really awesome, in my opinion better than the one in the first photo at the top of the thread. Can't wait to see this one done. Are you going with a white interior? If so, what shade of white are you using? I have seen a lot of guys doing the white interiors on this cars and usually they go with a pure white, I don't think it's the correct shade.

    '33 Caddy!!!

WOW that Black color is miles deep man, I can even see the Wal-Mart from here No need for a GPS to find your house
  6. I would buy this body also, only I am not a big Willys fan but I will put up a list of cars I would love to see you sell already painted. I am more of a factory stock type of builder. 1-Thunderbolt 2-New Revell Nova 3-Lindberg '66 Chevelle 4-'55 Chevy 5-'56 Del Ray I have a few others I can't think of right now but these are on the top of my list.
  7. Hey Cruz, question, what did you thin that paint with? I have some lacquer thinner but have not had any luck thinning my paint. For some reason it's coming out too dry. You did say you airbrushed yours right?
  8. I think $75 dollars is more than adequate and once you take some pictures outside it will look better. The gloss is there, don't know why Jantrix is suggesting a glossy finish when it's showing in these pictures but again, you should take them outside under a bright sunny day. I just wish I had the money to buy it, I will see how this goes.
  9. I am just kidding Cruz, I wish I could build like that!
  10. 10 seconds?????I didn't put this little rocket engine in there for a 10 second run!!!! but I do know very well about Salinas!!!
  11. Thanks for the pictures, Norm really has some nice stuff there, I will be contacting him soon.
  12. What are you, nuts? With the way you paint you should go higher on that price. On top of that, your foiling skills are out of this world, there is a lot of us that would love to foil like that. Believe me, there will be a lot of interested individuals out there if you decide to do this. You just make sure you post them here, I will definitely be checking them out. (Just give me a better price)
  13. Even with the simple rims this build looks awesome, I love station wagons. Very cool man!
  14. This thing is awesome my friend, I like the Rotor decal you placed in the back, nice touch. Can't believe this simple kit could look so good. The paint is smooth too!
  15. Unbelievable, that thing looks so real man!

    Dark Beast!!!!

That paint is miles deep man, black is never easy to do but this is just awesome, perfect.
  17. Wow, we can see the time you put into this, definitely worth the effort though, the thing is gorgeous!
  18. Really love what your'e doing with this, it's pretty unique and something you don't see much in the contest tables.
  19. Wow, looks just like the rotary engines my boys have around my way. What are you doing for the exhaust system? Are you putting headers or something? This is really an awesome build, I am glad you decided on that engine, makes it even more unique.
  20. WOW, Gossip really brings everybody out of their hiding places! I really am not sure who has the better magazine or forum but when you look at the whole picture, seems to me that SA has more members in their forum and more magazines sold, sorry but it's the truth. I still prefer it here but like I said, I look at the big picture!
  21. I really love the colors you chose for this build, everything flows neatly.
  22. Wow Cruz, this one looks like a tough one, I am getting a headache just looking at the stuff your'e doing to this thing. If I could build like that and have my way I would keep the outside Vega look intact and surprise them with the Buick engine. Do they make any photo-etch detail sets for the Grand National? You could put the GN badges all around the car and paint it all black, this way you can go all GN.
  23. I love their range of colors.
  24. Oh man, I have an uncle visiting me from P.R. this week and he is drooling w/ this thing. He had one when he was younger, bought it used from another guy which had it in a garage and well kept. He wants this one, any chance of selling it? Seriously! This thing is awesome. His was all red.
  25. I'm with Bill on this one Cruz, the paint is just awesome. Looks like a lot of work on the P/E stuff also but it's a winner for sure. How much more to finish? Looks like it's all there to me
