  1. It's interesting to see the two different rear side reflectors that were used on the 68 Mustangs. Check with Gerry Chevalier. IIRC he makes a 67-68 Mustang Coupe body.
  2. Still waiting for it to show up in my LHS. Wal Marts here don't sell kits. I did get one a while back from a mail order shop.
  3. In downtown LA yesterday: 2023 Aston Martin Vantage. Candy apple red. Yellow Jaguar XK-120 LAPD "tactical" vehicle. I spent some time in LA Union Station while waiting for my brother, who needed to be in court nearby. Very cool place to hang out. It has been maintained very well.
  4. From Desert Scale Classic swap meet: Revell 56 Chevy Del Ray Revell 60 Chevy Impala AMT 68 Galaxie Engines from Iceman Collections Jaguar Mark 10/420 promo/toy Raffle Prizes: AMD Dodge D50 Coke pickup and an ERTL Mack truck I visited LHS yesterday and picked up a Fujimi Mercedes AMG GT kit
  5. Today I needed some black paint to do a bit of touch up work on a model. The first bottle of black I found was an old round bottle of Pactra enamel that has probably not been opened in over 25 years. It sounded OK when I shook it so I opened it and stirred it for a minute. It mixed well so I went ahead and used it. It worked like new, fresh paint. Probably better.
  6. Fisher Ferrari 312P Berlinetta. This will look good next to my Dragon 312P.
  7. Today I saw a Dodge 3500 pickup with FX-4 stickers on the bed sides.
  8. 2001-ish Suburban with "Powerstroke 7.3" emblems on the fenders and tailgate.
  9. Cab Driver, you need to download a snipping tool for making screen shots.
  10. That's where all the Demons went. My LHS (Both of them) are unable to get them. Their distributors have them on back order.
  11. A Lincoln LS A Rolls-Royce Phantom. White with blacked out trim, including the grille and Spirit of Ecstasy.
  12. The Browns have always been the Browns. Colts moved to Indianapolis.
  13. Big black Maybach sedan. In West LA, of course. Ferrari 458. And a big crash between a Toyota pickup and Mercedes SUV thing that happened right in front of me on the freeway.
  14. You're right. I checked his FB page, and he does not have a flat hood. However, he does cast the ram air plenum for the underside of the NACA duct hood.
  15. Gerry Chevalier makes a flat hood, as well as a base model 71 grille. He can be contacted on his Facebook page.
  16. 72-73 Cougar engines were variations of the 351C. No big blocks.
  17. AMT 65 Mustang fastback kit and some paint.
  18. 65 Chevy wagon A late model red mid-engine Ferrari.
  19. One other thing: Scott, the proprietor of Speed City, creates the masters and molds for his products but does not cast them himself. He has had trouble finding reliable, competent casters to help make his products. Giving the OP in this thread a full refund on his order says a lot about Scott's integrity.
  20. Buena Park PD officers used to sit at the exit of Fabulous Fords Forever shows at Knott's Berry Farm and would chase and ticket those who felt the need to show off as they departed. 500 horsepower cars, 50 horsepower drivers.
  21. Jim Keeler worked for Revell in the early 60s. He was involved in the design of many of the kits, and possibly the parts packs, we know and love.
  22. JIM Keeler was in on the original design of these kits, if not the designer himself. He has been a consultant in the packaging and marketing of the Atlantis version of these kits.
  23. There's more profit in the loaded up versions.
  24. I remember that Gregg or one of the editors announced that they were not going to adhere to a "bi-monthly" publishing schedule a few years ago. Each issue would be published when ready and there would be an issue number with no month on the cover.
