  3. Yes I know. Never heard it described thusly. I also remember when whitewall or white stripe tires came with a blue protective coating that needed to be scrubbed off.

  5. It might have something to do with the fact that the same person designed the DeLorean and the 1974 concept car that inspired that Hyundai - Giorgetto Giugiaro.
  6. Then try to find the plastic bumper fillers. I know they make them for the pre-downsize Cadillacs. A lot of these cars were not built very well and were underpowered. They had a lot of vacuum hoses and valves to help control emissions. In some areas the DMV paperwork and expense to put a car that has not been registered for a few years can be an expensive nightmare. I would like to talk to a guy who lives around the corner from me about the Prelude that has been sitting in his yard for several years, then the thought of standing in line then shelling out a lot of cash at DMV makes me pause.
  7. Starting in 1971, for a few years all intermediate Dodge 2-doors were Chargers and all 4-doors and wagons were Coronets. No external sheet metal or trim was shared.
  8. Remember they were changing things from race to race during a season to make the cars run faster.

  11. Ron Ramsay also built a replica of the Malco Gasser with his usual thoroughness in taking a kit and modifying it and scratch building to look more like the real thing.

  15. AMT and Revell both launched 67 Chevelle kits at about the same time. AMT, Revell and Lindberg all released versions of the 1997-ish Ford F-150 close together.
  16. Passenger side timing chain and tensioners on the Ford 4.0 SOHC V6. It's on the passenger side, at the back. Engine out to service/change.
  17. Some Honda Civics and Integras require the passenger side axle to be removed to take out the alternator.
  18. I saw this yesterday near my home. It had a "Continental" spare.
  19. 64 Impala hardtop out cruising. Jeep Gladiator with an iridescent pink wrap.
  20. We are almost ready! Vendor tables are sold out. We have raffle donations from Revell, Slixx, Iceman Collections and Best Model Car Parts. Also paint and an airbrush setup from Tropical Glitz
  21. Revell 56 Nomad and Del Ray, and probably the newer-tool 57 Chevys, have separate wipers.
  22. Detail Master made photo-etched wipers.
  23. On Saturday I saw a silver Dino 246 on a flatbed.
