    I am building a drag car and want to replicat rubber on the rear quarter panel and wheelwell. I dont know what to use.Any Idea's.

    My wife and I went to Hobby Lobby this morning.I came home with a Hudson kit and some paint.

    I am building more stock or stock with period assesories.That is when my other hobbie lets me.

    I use a piece of tempered glass and a self healing mat.The mat is good for cutting and the glass cleans up real easy.I have a piece about 18"x18".

    Years ago,I ran a parts store and we had a DIESEL chevette.We also had a diesel escort wagon to run parts in.

    I have good luck with the high test easy off(yellow can).It only takes a few for chrome and overnight for the base coating.

    I know it stinks when they do that.I have been called out on it more than a few times. I had a woman do it when I had my power chair on the carrier on the back of our truck.Dont let them ruin your day.They are just ignorant.

    My daily driver is a 1997 Dodge p/u.I also drive a 1965 Dodge dart,a 1982 honda nite hawk and a 1992 Suzuki dr 650 s.

    The wife came home with a few kis for me today.First she showed me the revell willys pu. Then the hot rod funny car.Then last and not least she showed me the '62 impala kit.She needs to go to hobby lobby more often.

    My first car was a Renault Douphine(sp) that was given to me.I want to say it was a 1959. what a pos.Oh and I was about 14 yo.

    My main hobby other than model building is woodturning.I do anything frome pens to bowls and many other spinny things in between.

    The easy off works great but use the yellow can and not the blue can.I havent had much luck with the blue stuff.

    Sort of a kit,does anyone remembor the hot wheels injection set.It had a plastic injection machine that used what looked like hot glue sticks for plastic.
