  1. Thanks Christopher. It might be my favorite too.
  2. Oh man. What am I going to use for interiors? I need those flat MM paints.
  3. I saw a post on Facebook stating Testors was going to eliminate the Model Master line of paints. I went to the Testors website but can't get through to customer service. Anybody know what's going on?
  4. Thanks Jeff.
  5. Thanks Jeff.
  6. Thanks Rusty. It's Duplicolor grey primer covered with Pearl-Ex antique silver mixed with HOK SG100 intercoat clear and then a couple coats of Nason 2 part urethane clear. You need an airbrush and there's all kinds of combination you can make. One Pearl-Ex powder looks completely different over different primers and colors.
  7. Thank you Steve, Joe, Pat, Lee, Donald, and Dave. The valve covers are my castings. If you want a set send me a snail mail address and I'll get them to you. Dirk Joseph gave me aluminum originals that I copied. Dirk is so talented, he probably made them on some machine.
  8. Thanks Peter, Bruce, and Bo. Flamed wood grain side panels are kit decals.
  9. Many thanks Bob.
  10. Thank you Snake and Oscar.
  11. Thanks Mark, David, Chris, and Ray. I got my hands on some very thin orange acetate for the glass.
  12. Thanks Mark. I'm pretty happy with this build.
  13. Finished this puppy yesterday. Paint is Tru-Color metallic orange. Side and rear glass is tinted orange. Added polished aluminum exhaust entensions and use Rustoleum Texture paint for undercoating.
  14. Welcome Larry.
  15. Looks like it could have come from the factory. Very nice.

  18. Fantastic build.
  19. Gorgeous build.
  20. Very original idea making it a car train or whatever you call it. I started that kit a couple of days ago and am very interested in replacing the plastic panels with real wood. That scullin train pic is very nice.
  21. Thanks Jim.
  22. Got the 1,2, 4 sizes at Hobby Lobby $7.79 each with tax. The store will order them for you too.
  23. Fantastic reproduction
  24. No Biggie, Ray. We're not going to Prescott - I don't think. Go in May Mike and maybe we can meet up at the Grand Canyon.
  25. You might want to look at California Air Tools. Very quiet compressor. http://www.californiaairtools.com/
