  1. Thanks Cliff and Bruce. Nose oil works good.
  2. MCM #204 was in the mailbox. Haven't opened yet but I'm sure it'll be a good one, especially since it's the MCM since around February 2017.
  3. I'm in no big hurry. I'll put the GTO to the side.
  4. We could swap at a FAST meeting and skip postage. 65 GTO convert, 66 Olds 442, 66 GTO, 69 Olds 442.
  5. Gadzooks. So many replies overnight. Thank you so much to Joe, Bill, Christopher, Roger, Eric, Lee, Carl, Chris, And Marty.
  6. Thanks again, Geno.
  7. 2 thumbs up? Wow. thank you Geno.
  8. Thanks Keith. Way back when, I went to Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge to get a Hyper-Pak (4 barrel carb, intake manifold, cam) and wheel well headers for my 1964 Dodge Dart. Since it was a slant 6, I called Lambcharger.
  9. Thanks Steve.
  10. Thanks Donald.
  11. Thanks David.
  12. Thank you Roger, Michael, and Mike. I used HOK black sparkle pearl on it.
  13. Thanks David. There's a coup;e bad spots in the paint.
  14. Thanks Ray. The kit roof came from the factory with a vinyl top. I just painted it flat black and rubbed nose oils on it.
  15. Visited the Ocala Hobby Lobby last night after taking Marcia to Carrabba's for her birthday dinner. Food was excellent. The model kit shelves at HL had many open spots. They need a restock real bad. The Foose pickup was available but that's about all I saw for new items. I was hoping to score a Foose Caddy last night. I did notice shopping carts full of boxes in the area so maybe more kits are in them. I'll check again on Saturday when we have our FAST meeting at the store.
  16. Thanks Eric.
  17. I might have been blessed with growing up near Chicago because it was a fairly short trip to Mr. Norm's Gran Spaulding Dodge and the only place you could get a 1968 Dodge Dart with a 440 engine. Here's my version of what you could buy off the showroom floor. I used a set of those AMT red line tires and tied my hand with hypodermic tubing for the antenna.
  18. I use make up applicators from Walgreens to clean off The Detailer while it's still wet. If The Detailer is dry, I wet the applicator to clean. Make up applicators are like Q-Tips with 1 end flat and round while the the other end is pointed. Several places carry the style but I prefer the Walgreens brand. They're also excellent for burnishing BMF. 19. Amazing work. The finished build is just fantastic.
  20. Do want to trade out any parts? The guy getting the '39 Chevy SD is notorious for selling kits missing parts. I don't know what, if any, parts I'll ahve to find for the one I'm getting.
  21. Good luck with the new club guys.
  22. I'll be getting the '39 Chevy SD in a couple of weeks.
  23. Near a Hobby Lobby, Randy? $7.69 with 40% coupon.
  24. Looks ready to run. Very nice.
