    1938 Ford

Thanks Phil. I bought 3 of the '38 Ford kits at Ollie's. The wheels, tires, and chassis are wonderful parts.
  7. Thanks Tom, Lee, Dan, and Eric. You're probably correct if it was a factory stock build, Lee, but it's not. To my knowledge, GM never used HOK paint.
  8. Thanks Dann. I always use unthinned Elmers' glue but first I use a flat paint similar in color to the kens' Funny Fur flocking I'll be using. Also dump the flocking into a strainer and use a finger to move it around. Comes out finer with no lumps.

Well heck. Let's build a hot rod! Fabulous build of a perfect hot rod! And SHINY to boot.
  10. Very rarely to never. I usually trade off builds for kits.
  11. Thanks Ray. Not a Cobra, but I would think pretty quick.
  12. Another out of the box build. This one was for an IPMS review. Paint is HOK zenith gold.

    1938 Ford

Thanks David. I really like doing interiors. The dark brown lines are actually drawn with a marker.

    1938 Ford

Woke up this morning to all these wonderful comments. Thank you all so much. I changed my photo drop to try and get better pics. The old 1 had 3 sides and I thought was blocking lights. The new has only 2 sides. That was my thought anyway.
  18. My subscription expired with 203 and I renewed.

    1938 Ford

This afternoon's completion was this 1938 Ford. It's built out of the box and finished in Pearl-Ex sunset gold. And I used my new photo backdrop for these pics.
  21. Excellent build.
  22. I use the Bondo 2 part for major work and Squadron white or green for very minor items. And yes, O'Reilly's does a Veteran discount. I just show them my VA card. They're also an excellent source for Duplicolor primers.
  23. Very cool.
