  1. Fantastic build and beautiful SHINY :)
  2. Welcome back, Mark.
  3. Terrific build. I like the SHINY :)
  4. You're a lucky dude, John. Weather forecasters down here are saying the NE is going to get clobbered with 12" or more of that cold white stuff.
  5. Looks great in SHINY :)
  6. Ohhh. I just got a chill reading your post.
  7. The '49 Merc kit has wood grain texture in the plastic. I guess the plan would be to either apply the kit decals or paint with acrylics and then load up the clear?
  8. Rained all day here and it's 66 degrees. My plans for trimming some trees and taking down the Christmas decorations were foiled again. Maybe tomorrow.
  9. Bummer. We got 1/2" of rain yesterday and 3/4" so far today. Almost time to go out to the shop and build.
  10. Got a free Merc wagon from IPMS to do a review. Bumpers are being stripped to be used as a base for front & rear rolled pans. I'm thinking chrome reversed wheels with baby moons. Maybe a rack on top for surfboard(s). Also going to try painting the "wood".
  11. Welcome Rob.
  12. Welcome guys.
  13. Welcome Nathan.
  14. Welcome Dale.
  15. Welcome Jeff.
  16. Sweet and SHINY :) , Bill.
  17. Looks good. Paint or Alclad?
  18. Just get rid of that white stuff and the cold. I'm scheduled to go to Grand Rapids next week, spend a couple of days with Mom and then head over to Rockford for a day. I predict that I'll be anxious to get home to FLA.
  19. Nothing like SHINY :) purple.
  20. Looks to be a SHINY :) year.
  21. Looking mighty fine, Bill. Did I read right? You use Future before painting?
  22. Same here Gertjan. Both are interesting.
  23. Very nice build. I especially like the SHINY :)
  24. After some yard work. I was at the bench most of the afternoon. Plan on going back tomorrow afternoon.
  25. Welcome to our styrene playground, Arnd.
