  1. Sweet and SHINY :)
  2. That was a pretty cool idea and looks good too.
  3. NIce builds. I especially like the Riviera.
  4. Most excellent. I went back several times to look again and again at your details. I'll go back again because I probably missed something the first few times.
  5. Very nice and SHINY :) too.
  6. Thanks fellas SHINY :) RULES!
  7. Ha, ha, Neal. You need to come over to the SHINY :) side.
  8. Cool. Is that your usual big scale, Don?
  9. What you you gonna do for a spraybooth? Using an airbrush is much different from using rattle cans - practice!
  10. You're going to love that Paasche H series airbrush, Brandon. Nice feel, easy to use and clean. Santa brought me 2 of the new Revell '56 Chevy Del Ray's (Tower Hobby), couple sets of Pegasus wheels, some interior PE, and flocking (Scale Dreams), and a bunch of HOK paint (Coast Airbrush). Oh, and a gift certificate (Rob's Hobby World). The Manx buggy (Tower Hobby) should be delivered on Friday.
  11. Thanks Scott. SHINY :) RULES!
  12. Thanks Manny. I'm planning a build to use a set of those wonderful Weld 5 star wheels from you.
  13. Nice. SHINY :) RULES!
  14. Looking excellent, Nick.
  15. Thank you for the compliments. I have to say thanks again to Fatkidd. He's the guy that told me how to do the fade and even gave me some white sparkle pearl to help the project along.
  16. Thank you guys. That's HOK pavo purple on the stripe. The exhaust tips are polished aluminum tubing. I use a Paasche H series airbrush for painting.
  17. Hey Bill - I didn't know that anyone made a kit of the Barris mini T. And what's that other one - Coyote? Very cool.
  18. Thanks again, Niko. My friend, Fatkidd, told me how to do the paint. The fogging came out pretty good I think. I kick myself in the butt for not taking a good interior pic. Bucket seats front & back with a full length console. I think it's one of my best interiors. Hard to see, but the engine has an engine oil and transmission dipsticks. The grill was made from mesh and then pin heads inserted. Did I mention the '56 Olds Fiesta hubcaps?
  19. Thanks, Niko. I had to paint the spokes so they a cast look to them. SHINY :) RULES!
  20. And my second most recent build is this 1957 Chrysler painted white with HOK sparkles and fogged with HOK sunset pearl. Dummy here forgot to take an interior pic so this is the best I could do.
  21. Just completed 2 builds. Here's the first one - 1932 Ford 3 window coupe painted in HOK kandy magenta.
  22. That is pretty! Great job on the head & taillights, chopped top, skirts & the little fins coming out, and . . . Well, Just a terrific job on the whole build. Purple happens to be my most favorite color and SHINY :) RULES!
  23. If you're using a Dremel, get yourself a universal chuck. It works like the chuck on regular drill. Check the chuck on your pinvise. There are different sizes and you might just need a smaller one.
  24. I bought some Weld wheels from VCG. Service was quick and the price was right. I wouldn't hesitate to order again.
