  1. Never heard of the show, but nice Goat.
  2. Rob's Hobby World in Ocala carries a pretty good supply of Evergreen. I'll be going there in the morning to pick up some 2" foam insulation to make mountains on our train layout.
  3. I don't make resolutions anymore because I rarely keep them. I'll just keep on trying to keep getting along the road.
  4. More. More. More.
  5. Very cool.
  6. UPS brought mine today. I didn't open the sealed box yet.
  7. The chrome Ts look excellent. I built an A100 with 19 & 23 Ts on it.
  8. What are you going to do about the door hinges?
  9. Pace makes a terrific unit. Go on and buy one already.
  10. I suppose it could the wrap that people use these days instead of painting your business on a truck/car.
  11. Chrome plated? Polished aluminum or stainless? I don't like the black wheels.
  12. Thank you for the very kind comments, Guy. It never hurts to dream, does it?
  13. It does look SUPER. Nice touch with the rubber trash on the fender. SHINY :) RULES!
  14. Just got a message that Chicago Airbrush is having a 12% off on airbrushes and airbrush parts.
  15. You're welcome, Doug. For what? The paint is very similar to the kit box art, Ronnie. I liked it so much that I wanted to try and come close to it.
  16. Without the add-on side windows the car looks good - very good. If the side window design where such that they blended in to the that rear upright part, it would be better. I sure wouldn't mind taking a test drive in one of those.
  17. The colors are from the South Vietnam flag and are set in deliberate vertical pattern, and have also been used on a horizontal position as well (like the tattoo on my arm). Let me give you a quick history. The Vietnam War became very unpopular in the USA in the late 1960s. Unfortunately, American citizens took their anger and put it on us Veterans. People spit on us, movies always portrayed Vietnam Veterans as drug/alcohol abusers, lazy, no good bums, baby killers, etc. They did us very wrong for a long time. That attitude started to change in the early 1980's to where it now popular to be a Veteran. People fly flags again and treat our present day servicemen and women with the respect they deserve. It's been an uphill battle, but Vietnam Veterans have been able to change the whole country's attitude towards Veterans. We wear our "colors" with pride and try to make it easier for fellow Vietnam Veterans to recognize each other.
  18. No offense taken, Erik. Us old Veterans are still trying to educate the public. The Vietnam Service Medal has become the Vietnam Medal in the Veteran community over here. We put a version on our vehicles, bracelets, necklaces, shirts, patches, etc. Other Vietnam Veterans see the colors and are able to quickly identify another Vietnam Veteran. My builds have been seen at shows I've attended and I've been approached by other Vietnam Veterans because on my build(s) and we were able to talk. Mission accomplished.
  19. Nice job on your first build. I looked before but didn't see pics and I refuse to click to another spot.
  20. If somebody gave me one I'd take it, but wouldn't think about buying one. The upper door frame and rear window frame look extremely unfinished to me.
  21. Thanks guys. The license plate is a representation of the Vietnam Service Medal. I served in the Vietnam War and am proud of it, so I show my "colors" on all my builds.
  22. Those shelves make my eyes blurry.
  23. I'm liking the SHINY :) Nick.
