  1. So where's mine? I ordered them from Tower Hobbies on November 26, 2011.
  2. Now it makes sense.

    71 Cuda

    Looks menacing in black.
  4. I have to ask - why did you fill the rear window?
  5. That looks excellent. Some of the forum members are going to go nuts over it.
  6. If you're going to build a booth with wood, caulk all the seams - but DO NOT use silicone caulk. It will probably leave fisheyes in your paint.
  7. There's 2 of those puppies under the Christmas tree for me. I won't be building stock, so I couldn't care less about stock tires.
  8. I would think Bondo.
  9. Alright, Dominik. SHINY :) RULES!
  10. You going to leave it as is, Nick, or build something out of it?
  11. I think Rick has the PE blades over at Scale Dreams. I don't re-scribe panel lines unless I've done some body work in the area.
  12. At first I thought (hoped) you were going to take a rusty/crusty rod and make it real SHINY. Oh well. Still looks good though.
  13. I just checked Portillo's website. It's $69.95 for 1 pound of beef, gravy, peppers, rolls with 2 day shipping. I'll wait until I get in May and bring home about 10 pounds and it'll go as baggage.
  14. Looking good, Stu. Keep it going, man.
  15. On Sunday we bought a N scale steam engine and a couple of coal cars. We're going to build a train layout in the shop. Also picked up a '65 Chevelle kit at the train show.
  16. Interesting, Mike. I didn't know you could bring a bunch of pizza onboard. I tried with some frozen Portillo's beef with gravy and it had to go as checked in baggage. Frozen or not - it's still a liquid. The shipping deal is very expensive. Last time I checked, a pound of Portillo's beef with gravy was around $57 shipped overnight to FLA. Too much. We found a recipe online for Italian beef and make it every so often.
  17. We have a few different sizes of paper clips over here. The smaller ones don't look bad.
  18. Most excellent build. Those first few pics are very dramatic. Love the fade in the paint and just absolutely love the SHINY :)
  19. About the size as your ignition wire. 20# test fishing line works well. How about paper clips? They're harder to bend but work.
  20. You're a sick puppy, Neal - doing that to a Mercedes. But I actually like the thought you put into it. The door handles, gas cap, screens, horn, and I love the shift knob. Weathering is superb.
  21. There's water all over the place around you, Stu. Nobody sells fishing line? Do you have a craft store? They usually have an assortment of wire in the bead section.
  22. I'm going real this time but I don't really care if it's real or model. The car looks extremely good and it's very SHINY :)
  23. Looking nice, Stu. I use a variety of things for fuelines - 20 lb test fishing line (comes in clear and translucent red), different gauges of wire, #1 Beadalon beading crimps for fittings. I'm fairly cheap and don't like spending lots of money on braided lines and A/N fittings.
