Cool Valiant James. I've been pondering doing the same thing to a Revell 62 Lancer that I built for one of the "Southwest Challenges" about 20 years ago. After a few moves it's reverting back to kit form. Plus the choice of MPC's T/A Radials wasn't good, given their (then unknown) propensity for eating all things plastic, are turning the 70's Rally's into goo. The Testors white body has turned cream colored, and the red interior is now shinier than the exterior. Oh well, the Hyper Pack 225 still looks good. I'll leave that as is. Will I re-do the Lancer? Yes. But I'll take some pics of it before I re-do it.

They might be "closet builders". Invite some of them over, put some tunes on and show your models off. You might get some of them to building.

From what I gather it's not Pay-Pal per se. It's the fact that E-Bay owns Pay-Pal. Giving even more money to E-Bay in fees is the gripe. E-Bay doesn't make money off of the check or m/o transactions. So E-Bay forcing sellers to use Pay-Pal only is what has everybody mad.

Very nice save Ed. That old Revell plastic is BRITTLE! Modelhaus shows a windshield, but I don't know if it's for the JoHan kit or Revell. You can e-mail Don from his site. He and Carol are great people. Also you might see if AMT's 59 Imperial, 57 300 or the 58 Belvedere are close.

I like the idea too. The "3000" cars are neat, but kind of drab looking. Who knows there may be enough entries to have both old school "2000" type cars and new "3000" cars. The 66 Riveria in the new movie is pretty cool looking though.
