  1. Those are some neat builds. I built both KRs when they were first released in the early `80s, but did not look as good as yours though. Well done.
  2. I will be watching this build with interest as i have 3 of these kits. I think the 427 style hood would look good. I am almost finished a `64 T-Bolt conversion into a 4 door along this style. http://s112.photobucket.com/albums/n197/st...IP/64_Fairlane/
  3. Very sweet rod you have there, i can see myself cruising in it . Well done on a top build.
  4. Great looking cruiser you have there, sweet build, spot on .
  5. Wow, that is impressive, a real attention getter . Well done.
  6. Sweet build, the cream roof is a good idea.
  7. Wow, now that is a real eye catcher. Such a simple but very effective paint job, those 2 colours just work so well on that body. And the chrome steelies and whites are a nice touch.
  8. Thanks guys. Kurt, the one good thing about being bad tempered when i was younger is wrecks like this have taught me a lot about body work . Jim, prices for kits here in Oz are ridiculous. Revell kits are $35+ on the shelfhere, and AMT are $30+ if you can find them. Don`t even get me started on European and Japenese kits. It`s just not models either, just about everything imported here is way over priced compared too most of the world.
  9. Finished this one. Started with one of these about 10 years ago Then this happened around 6 months after i started Pulled the box out 8 weeks back and have ended up with this Finished interior Wip pics here http://s112.photobucket.com/albums/n197/stevegt738/models/my_models/Ford/64_Marauder_custom/
  10. For the windows users, i would recommend you change to Ubuntu. It is legally free, easy to use and if you don`t play games on your pc, then it will do everything you need. I made the switch a few years ago, and won`t go back. The latest version is very non geek friendly, and like Macs is inherently more secure than windows in the way it is coded, and the operating system is structured. Macs are good to use and on average more stable than pc`s, but unless you have plenty of money, the initial setup costs are ridiculous. Especially here in Australia. Anyway that is enough from me, back to the bench i go .
  11. My to be built collection . Stuff in the kitchen. The kits on the left half of the top shelf are Lindas, so are the space ships. Out in the shed Boxes full of old and broken models, and spares. So that is my modeling environments
  12. Okay here is my setup. Work area 1 is in the kitchen. This is where i do all my research, planning, detail painting and Forum stuff. Number 1 assistant Work area 2 is out in the garage. This is where i do all modifications, construction, spraying and escape to when the teenagers are going feral Desk 1 is for cars desk 2 is for trucks These desks don`t look this clean anymore, pic was taken just after they were set up. Old pc to play MP3`s, scrounged of hard rubbish, no cost. Amp, radio and speakers donated by mates. Chair for listening to sounds donated by a neighbor. Heater for winter modeling None of the shed stuff has cost me anything, all scrounged or donated thumbsup .
  13. Now this is a real sweet build of one of the coolest Ferraris ever, to me anyway. The colour is so right on this, it should have been an option from Ferrari.
  14. Woah, what a subject too choose, and the outcome is perfect. I am impressed .
  15. Humbrol enamel Satin 165.
  16. Priceless, fantastic concept
  17. Very cool build. This car is pure class. I would a 1:1 version.
  18. Thanks Dan. The is as it came out of the air brush, no clear or polish. When it dried it had the look i was after, and one of the few paint jobs of mine that had no orange peel.
  19. This is one sweet build, just looks spot on.
  20. Built this about ten years ago, have just fixed broken suspension and touched up some paint chips.
  21. This is one tough looking Mopar. The engine bay detail is awesome, and steelies/dog dishes always look cool.
  22. Very cool build and subject, well done.
  23. Now that is one hot little sprite, very well done.
