A small business cannot compete now a days.I guess I'm not a fan of the system.Times do change,I do like the fact of more and more gas stations are pumping your gas for you,so you don't drive off without paying. I live in the middle of nowhere and love every minute.It's been about 7 hrs and not one car has gone by my house, ahhh.Sorry city dwellers.

I too play bass guitar for a working,part time,metal band.LOL,I also love to restore old lawn tractors and snow blowers ,small engines.Oh and fix stuff my wife and kids break.I make other people rich and buy food and pay taxes as a cnc operator.

I try real hard not to buy much there.They kill me with their business logic.The first ever walmart in my town starts out with a hobbie section,runs all the local shops out of business .O.K. they still carry models and paint and fabric general hobbie things and what not.O.K.some odd years later they open a super walmart,the stores twice the size with less stuff.No models,hobbie section reduced to 2 isles of leftover junk from the other store and when it runs out they don't restock it?The manager told me they only have room for so much.I said it's a bigger store and he looked at me like I grew another head and walked away. I buy all my stuff online now they(any place but walmart) have what I'm looking for and there open 24-7for my model shopping pleasures.

This hobbie does pose alot of passion.You don't hear of quilters going nuts over a blanket they are working on.Maybe cause I don't do that hobbie,maybe they do.?Who is to say the 'on the bench build' wasn't finished?I have yet to post in the underglass section,but I have,so called, finished a few.I feel they are never fully completed,but thats my own mental problem.

I use decal 8's.Most of them have an 8 in the serial or date #.I used a decal on my 32 Ford wip here that very few saw or commented on.

Last spring I got rid of an 89 saab,no brakes,no heater,windshield wippers didn't work and bald tires.Drove it to the scrap yard and got $240 for it.LOL,I only paid $120 for 6 yrs ago.I like to get my money's worth out of things. .It was a hairey ride last winter.
