  1. Honestly, how hard is this to wrap up? "Results will be announced June 22nd." Riiiiiiight.
  2. [wolf whistle] Love it! Great job, man. I like the no-bumper look out back. Not as a useful as a step bumper, but looks gooood.
  3. I can see what you're saying. That header panel between the front fenders on the AMT is split 50/50 over and under the crease, whereas on the Revell it's more of a 60/40 split and the headlight buckets are more conical on the Revell. Too minor to bug me, but I get what you're saying. When you see the real thing everyday, you know what looks right when you see it (or don't!). I passed on a resin version of my 1:1 pickup because I thought if failed to capture the look of the real thing. Model on...
  4. Nice build! Great looking truck.
  5. Nice! Yours and his. Thanks for the reference photos. I have some of those TSL Boggers and some BNL resin 4x4 parts with a similar plan in mind.
  6. The image showed '69, '70, '71 & '72 grilles.
  7. Early sprue shot images with the gates opened up showed '69 - '72 grilles.
  8. There you go. Enjoy the kit. I don't believe there were any bad intentions.
  9. It was a miscommunication between Moebius & Model King. Relax.
  10. Interesting. It does look like they borrowed some of the Model King/Sean Svendsen (sp?) artwork from the police sedan.
  11. C'mon, Just crunch the survey numbers already!
  12. Ahhh, OK. Thanks for confirming, Brett.
  13. The fact that we haven't seen the sprues from the Model King kit so far, plus Art not responding, gives me hope of a 4x4 option!
  14. 4x4?! Whaaaaat?? Brett - LOL
  15. Voting is closed. Maybe results on Monday?
  16. Very cool! I like the styling on those '63/'64 Mercs.
  17. Agreed. Make one pass. It will need another, but wait a minute or two before going over it again, or it will just push around the wet ink on there. 2-3 coats should do it.
  18. The interior tub (or floorpan w/ firewall & rear package shelf) can be placed inside the body, then the chassis will rest on that. That's how the kit will assemble in the end, and will allow you to see where you want your wheels in the wheel opening. I use stacks of pennies front and rear, under the chassis, to shim the car to the stance I want on my workbench, then figure out how to make it happen with the suspension pcs, etc. HTH.
  19. Revell also did a nice 1/25 diecast Badman post sedan kit, using the same tooling as the American Grafitti '55.
  20. I just received my #96 sheet and the print quality (color saturation, fidelity, legibility) is NICE! Good work, Chuck.
  21. Maybe peruse NASCAR decals on eBay and see if any companies you would like have sponsored cars? It seems to me hood and/or quarter panel decals might suffice for trailers, size-wise.
  22. Yes, the hardtop on the Revellogram box art is included in that Motion kit.
